I choose this stay because it has a private pool. Unfortunately i have some bad experience about this. The pump not working. So the water inside the pool cannot circulate. I text the owner and he say it has timer. Which will on from 8am to 7pm. This doesn’t make sense at all. People stay here bcoz of the pool. U should aspect people will use the pool at night. At least make the timer up to 10pm. Which is more reasonable. However the next say. The pump still not working even during the day. And the light at the pool is spoil. U should check all the facilities first before handovers to others.

I like the house. Very Comfortable and cozy for a kampung house. Both Rooms with aircond. Bed is enough and comfortable for a family. Location is ok. Have basic cooking facilities with plates and cup.

Hopefully the host will get rid of ants in the house. Otherwise, all was totally great.

My kids love the pool very much. Pleasant view and its ambience. The host was very friendly, polite and helpful.

Nothing much. Since its paddy fields, remember the insects will be there to accompany you.

Location wise is about 15-20mins to all attractions The scenery is amazing and the accommodation is comfortable. Its a perfect place for short stay. The pool is small and lil bit traditional but with the price it’s perfect

It would be beneficial for the host to enhance the overall cleanliness of the property, particularly in areas such as the house, toilet seats, pool, and the landscaping around the home, including the trimming of bushes and bamboo trees. Additionally, it would improve the guest experience to have a designated area for hanging towels in the bathroom and to consider offering a wider range of toiletries beyond just soap. Finally, it would be helpful for the photos provided to accurately reflect the current state of the property. I recommend these improvements for a more enjoyable stay for future guests. Tq

Nothing that we didn't like. But do expect mosquitoes, lizards which is normal and expected for any kampung houses. Bring mosquito patches and you will be good.

We had the best kampung stay here. Children enjoyed the pool. Scenery was beautiful. Easy access to local kampung food stalls. Host was helpful and easy to contact when needed. He lives just next to the house.

you can’t leave any food unattended for more than 30 minutes, there is a serious ant problem. but this is very much expected from kampung living so I dont see it as a flaw with the accommodation. it’s just nature.

it was a really charming and quaint kampung house. came fully equipped with everything we needed and was really clean and comfortable.

Because the house was made of wood, there was no soundproofing, so if the people from the next house were chatting outside, you could hear everything. The bathroom amenities can be improved (there was only one tiny soap and a tiny tube of shampoo). The mosquito net and cushion pillows could do some extra cleaning because they were already a bit dirty. A proper mosquito net (or mosquito killer) should be installed (because there were mosquitoes around at night). The dining table and chairs seemed a bit out of place because they were modern deco.

The atmosphere of the place and the house deco were SUPERB. We really got the feeling that we were staying in a traditional Malay kampong house surrounded by paddy fields, with an added modern convenience of having our own private swimming pool. It was easy to find, near masjid and near a few kampong restaurants. It also wasn't far from Kota Mahsuri. Its location in the middle of Langkawi island also made it convenient to go everywhere. In terms of facilities and amenities, there was a kitchen stove, fridge, plates and cups, washing machine (outside, under the house) and filtered water for drinking. I hope I've stayed longer here.

The homestay is excellent, but it can get better. On that note, this homestay may consider to improve the privacy of the private pool, the barbecue area, outside lighting (pool & barbecue), landscape and the condition of the bed

I love the house, i feel like i'm at home. The classic malay design is lovely. The paddy field view is wonderful especially during sunset. My kids love the private pool.
