How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Rooms a bit dated, breakfast buffet was ok - much better to find something outside, towels were frayed and could do with new towels.
Close to restaurants and shops. Room was decent sized and beds were comfortable.

Some of the facilties. were closed due to Ramadan fasting.Made it a very long day of waiting to go to the airport because they were not serving food or drinks in the ground floor lounge.
Have stayed there before and breakfast is always good.

took longer time to check in despite no crowd. reception gave someone else's booking for me to sign. Luckily, I managed to realise. Stay doesn't include free parking and lift was faulty. Need to go up and down staircase.
Room was clean and comfy. Water pressure was superb!

I stayed at Dorsett Residences (adjacent building) for three nights. Situated strategically within KLCC, the hotel offers spacious and well-designed rooms. However, the bed may be too small for an average-sized couple, and the toilet could use a bit more space. Additionally, despite numerous attempts, the room service does not pick up calls promptly.

Hotel could do with an upgrade. Very old. Took 10 minutes for the hot water to come through when wanting a shower

There's a stinky smell when we checked-in, and everytime we came in the room. I guess it's from the bathroom pipe. Room looked abit old..
The location is good . Walking distance to Pavilion and TRX.

The gym equipment consider as very out dated and quite dusty. The building and renovation is a bit old and not really well maintain like the pool area and gym and i think the property might also lack of manpower. I have call to reception / service counter for a good 3 to 4 times but no one answer at all till the phone auto hang up. The bathroom only provide 2 bath towels and did not provide facial and hand towel.
The room is spacious and with a decent gym and pool. To be honest the price I paid for this property is reasonable.

Breakfast needs to be improved, especially the pastry items (quality is not good, doesn't look fresh and yummy. How they serve fresh fruit is also not nice, especially the watermelon bowl (its with full of water). Hotel pool doesn't seem that clean and hygienic as Pigeon poops directly hit the kids pool and nearby sunbeds, so i went to Residence pool instead which is located in the roof top with twin tower views. Needs to improve above mentioned things, and I believe that service is not very 5 stars.
We arrived to Hotel around 8 pm, check-in was easy and front office Assistant Mr.Magentharan was super friendly and helpful. We booked the Executive suite from the Hotel, but got the access to Residence pool too. Hotel is not that new, bit older style, since we booked the suite, living room and toilet was big enough for us. Location is very good, few minutes to Pvillion mall and other shopping outlets.

TV channels were limited and we had problems with getting the all the channels available even after some help with the technician for both dorsett hotel and dorsett residence. Could not connect to HDMI for both rooms. Residence’s swimming pool did not have kids pool so we had to go to the hotel’s (building next to it) pool. Pool was clean but relatively small and simple.
It was exceptionally clean and spacious. Hotel is located near to Pavilion but at the same time not too noisy. Street food and 7/11 just a few mins walk away. Buffet was decent. Great deal!

Unfortunately the fridge at room 2014 was not working. We only realised it on our last night.
We like the location of the hotel. The staff at the reception was attentive and helpful. The room is huge and comfortable.
