ItalyMenu, even though food is good, is very repetitive. We got grabs served for 4 days out of 5!!! Staff is super unfriendly, at least with western tourists. We noticed they warmly welcome tourists from China but it looks like they don't care much about Western tourists...we tried to smile, to be friendly, we always submitted our request with respect, politely, they simply were cold to us. I am talking of the reception/kitchen staff. The diving/boat staff was cool! They never cleaned our room during our 4 nights stay. They are not well organised: even though we request the PADI OW Course waaaay in advance, they booked the instructor only the day before, so we had only 24h to get in touch with him and get the theory material from him; not all diving equipment is good/safe, please carefully check your tanks/BCD. Their office in Semporna at the jetty is simple terrible, but the employee we talked with was nice.
The location in the middle of the sea, very beautiful. The room has a stunning view, with a direct access to the sea (even though it is not allowed to directly jump from the balcony). The room is simple but nice. ALL the facilities are on the sea, amazing. They offer the chance to organise several boat trips and, since this year, a PADI course with freelancer instructor. The food is not bad, especially lunch and tea break is good. There is the chance to buy some snacks at their little shop (but no alcohol), price of the snacks is not expensive at all. They provide also extra boat transfers to/from Semporna for a little surcharge (50 RM extra per person).

AustraliaSurrounding waters were incredibly polluted! Meal times felt like a war zone with people shoving each other to get to food. Semporna the town is a cesspool of human effluent, pollution, beggars and tour operators contributing to the pollution problems. Reception staff prefer not to be interrupted while on their phones. Also noticed after a day of swimming, that our toilet piping was leaking into the very water we went swimming in. Neighbouring units so close, the noise was terribly disruptive.Wouldn't do again.
Beautiful views, adequate room. Warm waters with free snorkelling gear provided. Cleaning staff were the friendliest and hardest working I've seen in a long time.

I saw some tourists leaving chips and noodles packaging in their balcony, the balconies have no barrier so the wind took the plastics into the sea 😡 During the island hopping I was shocked by the plastics and rubbish thrown in the ocean.
Amazing hotel and location. The room was simple yet very clean and comfortable. I got the sunrise view and I enjoyed waking up every morning very early to enjoy the view from my balcony. The island hopping tours organised by the hotel were also great. Had a great time snorkelling around the hotel as well. Saw so many fish, star fish, corals… Even people who can’t swim can enjoy watching the sea from the jetty or their rooms. The water is so clear that you can see everything. We even saw a turtle passing by while we were dining.

SingaporePopular with families = quite noisy. The staff moved us to a more quiet room the second night, which helped a lot. Do bear in mind that they don't sell alcohol, but BYOB was accepted.
The meals were great, in particular the crabs! Breakfast was OK. Loved snorkelling from the pier, a lot of marine life to see.

United StatesVery basic economy hotel, with limited amenities. Our room was very simple, with only beds, and no furniture. No hot water. The food was adequate, but pretty much the same thing every day. A pricey hotel, but still less expensive than others in the area. You must manage your expectations. And just enjoy the surroundings.
The location and views are spectacular. The snorkeling was great. The excursions were great. I heard the diving is great, and is the main attraction. Staff was nice and friendly. Although many do not speak english.

NorwayIn the area there is a lot of trash, and sometimes it would be floating around the hotel. This is not something the hotel can do anything about, of course, but worth mentioning.
The location was perfect and so beautiful, you could snorkel around the hotel and we even saw sea turtles from our balcony on several occasions! The outings they organized were great, we would recommend package a and b, as well as the beginners dive. They had amazing fresh fruit smooties!

New ZealandIt costs 100rm per person to get to and from the location, and we unfortunately had someone on the balcony a few down from ours scrolling their phone on full blast (but that isn't the properties fault).
Stunning location. So special being right on the ocean. The room was a good size and comfy and nice having the balcony over the ocean (just hope you don't have noisy neighbors). We loved snorkelling around the area and saw so many fish and even a sea turtle! The dinner was amazing, delicious food. A great vibe and good value for money (though you will need to account for the transfer)

Netherlands-no Western options for breakfast nor dinner, other than white toast with peanut butter, eggs and water melon in the morning (besides rice options). Hotel caters primarily to Chinese tourists, so for breakfast and dinner expect mainly rice and curry options. Also fresh crab, which tasted really great, however some Western variety would be nice also for the kids -reasonably priced day tour to the other islands. Expect massive crowds though, you will not find the empty white sand beaches here.
-location on the water is just simply amazing -we stayed in a new family room on the new wing furthest away from the main building (room F3, 5 persons), which had new and confy beds -we did not experience any karaoke at night -we did not experience any safety-related situations, we did not feel unsafe
