Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBathroom wasn't as nice as the rest of the room and looked a little tired. There were also building works going on immediately next to the hotel that was very loud during the day. While it wasn't a major issue, we feel the hotel should have forewarned us of this in advance of our stay.
Hotel was in a great location and the room was very spacious. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were great too.

AustraliaThere were extensive building works right next door and we found absolutely no sound proofing from the windows meaning we heard every drill and bang from early morning. The facilities in the main hotel were clean. However, rooms were a bit dated despite us being advised we had been 'upgraded'. Attempted to have a bath on the last evening to find the plug didn't even fit securely, and water was just continually flowing out.
The hotel was located in the centre of KL with easy links to transport and sightseeing

United KingdomA number of things were problematic. The room entrance door was a double door which wasn't secure because the fixed door wasn't actually fixed and could easily be pushed open even when the other door was locked. The door wouldn't close properly, so had to call somebody out. The toilets wouldn't flush so had to call somebody out-several times. The additional beds left little space so had to call somebody out to move them. 2 of the lifts were out of order.
Excellent location, friendly and responsive staff. Good breakfast.

IndiaBeing a 5 Star Hotel, things could have been better. The TV and TV shelf in the room looked old and broken. A curtain or a slide door in the shower would have been better while staying with a family. The flush suction in toilet was sometimes not doing good which causes delay at times.
Location is Fantastic, Very close to Petronas Tower...1 min walk. Loved the Location. Lots of Greenery and easy access to other locations. Breakfast was good. They had good options and we all enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and supportive. We liked Maya International and will recommend.

SingaporeThe hotel appears run-down and some items in the room were spoilt (leaking bidet, the safe not working until we changed the batteries with our own) They are doing upgrading works which they should, but there's little noise so we're not bothered.
Hospitality of the staff is 5 stars. They assigned us a room that has not been cleaned. Immediately we were given a bigger room. The management took the trouble to send us chocolates and apology card. Mistakes happen, we understand. Hence we appreciate the gesture. Despite faulty amenities, the room was comfortable.

MalaysiaHad a problem with the latch on my room door which happened twice during my check-in. Called the receptionist to inform their technician which he then unscrew the latch so it won’t happen again.
Love the location, the spaciousness of the room, the massive bathroom, the vast selection of breakfast foods. It’s quite rare to find a hotel room that could accommodate 4 people. Usually it’s always the apartment hotel that has more than 1 room to accomodate more than 2 persons.

AustraliaLifts didn't work too well but hotel did advised they were being fixed during April. Some of the staff didn't have the best customer service skills. Hotel bars were crap and weren't opened when you wanted to sit and have a drink in the late arvo.
Location is very central to KLCC and Petronis Towers. Mono rail line is 5 min walk. Room was very roomy for family of 4 and was clean. Facilities in the room were ok, TV was old and channel options were poor but didn't really need the TV any way. Fridge didn't work but hotel swapped it out for one that did. Breakfast was ok, variety of food was good. Hotel could do with a refresh as it's starting to look tired.
