Stairs and the way to enter and out is quite steep.

I stay in room no.15. It was incredibly awesome mountain view when weather is fine and it is a nice room to stay. I also requested for any simple birthday room decoration and the staff did it very well. It was a memorable moment for me and my small family. Good job.

The location is ideal as it is facing the peak of Mount Kinanabalu. There is also a coffee restaurant located just a walking distance from the resort, and it overlooks the Mount Kinabalu peak. Nice environment and surroundings.

No gym, no pool and very limited channels on the tv.

The location, near Mount Kinabalu, was very scenic. We had dinner and not breakfast and the food was ok. The staff were helpful and carried our luggage to and from the car.

Mixed experiences here. Asked for the best room and was given room 15 which is a corner unit facing the mountain. Yes the view is nice but IT'S SO NOISY! You can hear the loud engines from the main road which is right below your window. You can also hear your neighbor as they walk heavily around the unit (the floor is wooden, on stilts). One night, we could hear screaming, laughing and people running next door until 2:00am! The WORST PART about this room: If you get room 15, prepare to be serenaded by LOUD ENGINE NOISES FROM THE ROAD BELOW -- from trucks, trailers, pickups and other vehicles night and day. Had difficulty sleeping the first night given the loud road noise. There is absolutely no soundproofing from the windows. This room is also up a flight of steep stairs. Nobody bothered to offer to help us with our bags and to carry it for us. Had to bring the bags up myself. Room is also small.. Hardly enough space to put 2 bags down and leave them open. Shower pressure was good but the heater quickly ran out of hot water after the first person bathed. Have to wait abt 15 minutes for the boiler to heat up before my wife could bathe. A note about driving the mountain main road to this property.. DO NOT DRIVE THIS ROAD AT NIGHT! THERE ARE NO STREET LIGHTS AND YOU WILL BE TAILGATED BY LOCAL PAJERO AND HILUX 4X4s who overtake you even at the corners. EF FING dangerous. Will stay here again ONLY IF THERE'S A QUIETER ROOM AVAILABLE.

Shower pressure was good but the heater quickly ran out of hot water after the first person bathed. Have to wait abt 15 minutes for the boiler to heat up before my wife could bathe. Everything else was good. Service was good. Parking was convenient and free. Location was 15 mins max to the center of Kundasang. Eating options around this area.. Be sure to goto the CONTAINER BOX HOUSE about 5 mins down the road for breakfast and or lunch. Very yummy laksa and beehoon. For dinner can goto AUGUST HOUSE also 5 mins away. Good food and big helpings but tight parking. Do note this place reception desk closes at 9pm. We arrived at 930pm and the security guard passed us our room key.. Which was fine. I will also say the staff was kind enough to decorate the bed for us as I told them we're celebrating our wedding anniversary together. Nice of them and a nice surprise when we got to the room.

Several steps from the entrance to the rooms that you need to drag your luggage to/from. This could pose significant challenge if your group includes an elderly pr those with mobility issues. We asked for assistance from the staffs but none were available when we checked in (around 3:00pm). The restaurant serves good food but service was a little bit slow and price-wise, a little bit expensive.

Good location, just 5 minutes drive to the Kinabalu Park HQ and less than 15 minutes drive to Kundasang town. Superb view of Kinabalu (when not covered by the clouds) from the restaurant. Good food from the Kloud restaurant.

A lot of stairs to get to the mountain view room. Not suitable for elders with walking issues. The lobby already is a climb up. The road noise is throughout the night as it is facing the main road even for unit 9. If the birds decided to create a nest there the whole night you can hear it chirp high pitch. Luckily we still able to sleep. For those who cannot stand noise this not a good room.

The location provided a nice view of Mt.kinabalu. the restraunt food is good especially the breakfast nasi lemak. The dinner pop corn salted egg chicken and egg plant fries is great. The cafe is also a good place to chill. We added extra bed to sleep 4. The staff are really nice and very helpful. Saving grace for this stay.

However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The cleanliness of the toilet wasn’t up to expectation, and the food was not served buffet-style as we had hoped.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view of the mountain from the room was amazing — definitely the highlight for us. It was a nice and peaceful place to relax.

Too many insects flying in to the room cannot open the balcony door to enjoy the cool temperature. No slippers provide in the room as floor is cold and sticky.

Great vantage point to base yourself to explore Mount Kinabalu and the Kundasang region. Very close to the entrance to the Kundasang UNESCO park entrance - 5 min drive. The onsite restaurant does great breakfast and dinner. Views of the mountain from the property at sunrise are spectacular weather permitting. The staff are super friendly and accommodating.

Although we were informed at the time of booking of the noise from the vehicles travelling on the road just next to the hotel if we were to stay in the room that we had chosen, we didn't expect the noise to be so loud and to continue until the early morning. However we came prepared with ear plugs and were able to sleep.

We loved the view from our room (when it was not foggy) and the food served at the restaurant was excellent!
