One of the best hotels/ experiences we have ever stayed in. Free airport and park HQ shuttle that runs regularly. Just get half board. Free room upgrade and hand made happy honeymoon sign was so nice

Swimming pool is plenty of noisy and unguarded Chinese children, nobody is watching the facility.

After arriving in the middle of the jungle with 3 kids we were informed that our stay will cost 20 percent more than the value indicated in the Booking app. The hotel had a different price indicated by Booking and the hotel asked us to pay the provision for Booking on top. Calling the hotline from Booking didn’t help - the lady apologized and said that they will check it. After one week there is still no answer from Booking about the price difference..

Breakfast was designed to serve people from many locations and interests. Staff exceptional in service. I was surprised that the hotel took such care to protect the environment. People could enjoy the sounds, smells of the forest. And it didn’t feel like we interfered too much on the life of the communities.

Food in the restaurant was fair although the buffet breakfast and dinner selection was really big. Hard to expect too much in such a remote area.

Beautiful hotel and its surroundings . Spacious room and comfortable bed. Free shuttle to airport and National Park. I had a nice surprise on return from our morning excursion , they decorated my room with Birthday cards and balloons and a towel birthday cake on the bed as well as a chocolate birthday cake too !! All the excursions booked through the hotel start from within the hotel and with lunch and snack and a smaller group. The price is more expensive than the excursions from the National Park but it is definitely worth it.

The hotel is a bit tired. It looks like it suffered from Covid and has not bounced back. The maintenance is rather behind leaving walkways in bad need of repair. If you are not on a tour package deal you are very much a second class citizen as the a la cart menu shrinks by the day with no options or concessions. It's also a shame that a hotel on the edge of a nation park has very little eco credentials. A generator cranks out the power whilst the sunshine is scorching. It could be stunning.

Really good location, friendly staff and great to be so much in nature given you are there for the national park. The hotel shuttle is easy and you never need to wait for long to get a ride.

The property is unique and very special. Being in the rainforest it is an amazing experience! Close to mulu national park and they provide transfer to the park and pick up too Same for coming and going to the airport

Perhaps the process of booking spa services and certain advertised offers at the hotel is a bit complicated, time-consuming, and poorly organized. But this is really just a minor issue.

- There were frequent power outages during my stay. Sometimes, the electricity went out 5+ times a day! - The rooms are not very sound proof. Also, the floor boards have A LOT of give in them. This means that the presence of neighbours can be both heard and felt distinctly. When neighbours are respectful, this is not an issue. -- However, the first two nights, I unfortunately had neighbours with kids who kept running around screaming late at night and early in the morning. -- That was the opposite of pleasant!!! - There is no hook in the bathroom (or anywhere else in the room) to hang up bath towels after use.

1) The room was clean and comfortable. Sleeping on the king-sized bed was like sleeping on a cloud. 2) The staff at reception and in the restaurant were superb. They did absolutely everything in their power to make my stay enjoyable. 3) The food was very good, especially the local dishes. I had the Sarawak laksa twice in four days, because it was so tasty. 4) The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and the national park was ultra convenient. 5) The foot massage at the Mandara Spa was very relaxing. I would recommend it.

An absolute gem set in such a unique location near the national park. The hotel arranged our airport transfers and staff were very attentive. Food was good and bar, restaurant, swimming pool facilities amazing. They helped us to arrange local trips.

The menu at the hotel is very expensive. To save money, I recommend eating at the National park or at the little restaurants just outside

The shuttle service is brilliant, it's so convenient and considerate. The place is beautiful.
