MalaysiaThe room i think a bit dusty. The corridor i suggest to put a coffee table so people can sit there to enjoy the view instead of just standing. The toilet smell like cigarettes smoke, i dont know where it come from, but it is so unpleasant for me.
Easy access, as the location is at the centre of fraser hill, near the bird exhibition, police station, klinik kesihatan and food stalls in the evening just a walking distance all places. Golf view or garden view is just nice.

United KingdomDelapidated and a bit gross. Room looked like no-one had entered it since 1972. Room didn't get cleaned at all or have towels/toiletries replaced in 5 days. Windows in stairwell green with algae. Large dead insects on the carpet of the 3rd floor corridor remained in place for 5 days. WiFi only in lobby where loud annoying radio was also pumped out constantly (it was difficult to do research). I would have been okay with this place if it had been half the price, but what I paid was a joke.

This was our 6th visit to Frazer Hill,3rd to The Shazan,so nothing came as a surprise,the hotel is run down,nothing done since our last visit in 11/2019 , not even a lick of paint and green mold on outside windows and building.The whole place is dirty,the lift would scare you to death in post covid times,definitely never sanitised. The lift Mirrors etc covered in dirty slimy looking streaks looks like someone had had a violent sneezing session, needs a good clean. Staff are obliging and helpful(those that understand you) but lack training,only one in three understood english. Lots of staff but just hanging about as they lack direction and don't know what to do, We are bird watchers and in our 7 nights here saw over 100 different birds so well worth staying here,other accommodation is of the same quality so not much choice generally very run down area.

Hong KongThe key didn't work on one of our rooms. The staff spent some time fixing it before providing another room. The staff should just change the room first and fix the key for the next guest so we didn't have to wait.
