The humidity in the room is quite high, and due the age of rom there is slight unpleasant smell sometimes. I would strongly suggest dehumidifiers.

Family room with tent is fantastic for kids. breakfast was excellent. top notch hotel in fabulous location. 5 min walk to Petronas Towers. pre ordered in room dining after a super late arrival. was ready when we checked in. perfect.

The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice: pastries were delicious. We had a diner buffet which was absolutely exceptional. The best we ever had. All staff members were helpful and very professional especially the concierge “Rizal” . He has been very helpful. Many thanks to him.

The bathroom is somewhat small.

Our stay at Shangri-La exceeded our expectations on every level. We arrived to the hotel late due to a delayed flight, but the front desk officer checked us in fast and accommodated all our requests. He even gave us a room upgrade, which we appreciated after a long day. The breakfast was exceptional, and the hotel atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. The location is perfect too, we were able to see a lot of the city by taxi. The rooms were clean and in-room dining was fast and delicious.

The pricing and the facilities denied to executive rooms.even though the pricing difference is not much as compared with suit rooms. Some facilities are denied to executive rooms is not at all fair.

Swimming pool was closed for maintenance and was not informed prior or during check-in. Alternate arrangements were made to use swimming pool at a nearest hotel with shuttle service which was not comfortable or convenient.

Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction truly set them apart. The horizon club rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. Perfectly located close to KL tower and 10 mins walk to KLCC mall & Petronas tower. Highlight of my stay was the exclusive access to the club lounge. The club lounge service at Shangri-La is unparalleled, offering a tranquil oasis where guests can unwind and enjoy a range of complimentary amenities. From the afternoon tea service to the evening cocktail hour, every aspect of the club lounge experience was thoughtfully curated to provide the ultimate in relaxation and indulgence. Breakfast was sumptuous spread of delicious and freshly prepared dishes, ranging from continental favorites, fresh fruits and juices to local specialties. Used Grab app to book taxi to commute and explore the town.

There was nothing that I disliked in this hotel, and I'm a frequent traveler and used to different situations.

Malaysia aims to create a wow-effect amongst its international visitors, and Shangri-la Hotel contributes to make such a wow-effect turn into a scalable worldwide effect. Each of the personnel was friendly, open to help and pleasing. The vallet team was very quick and friendly. The receptionists explained everything in detail with patience and friendliness. Breakfast consisted of several kitchens: Western, Malaysian, Chinese, North Indian. The dessert bar with chocolate fountain (one with milk chocolate, another one with white chocolate pouring down), the fruit plates, including the kind of barbecue for chocolate fountain, the juices diversity were beyond expectations. We also had dinner at a Japanese a-la carte restaurant on the 1st floor. We came hungry at 9-30 p.m. after visiting Batu Caves since we didn't have other time in Kuala Lumpur, but they served us everything we ordered (they close at 10-30 p.m.) and the food was delicious. The room was great as well. The windows were clean, and the great sight of the city landscape was seen clearly. Next time planning to spend more time in this hotel. Thanks to everyone! They try their best!

Being regulars we are not offered membership like to the Horizon Club which me and my family are used to frequent on our trips to Shangri-La KL. If the the rooms entitling inhouse guests access to the Horizon Club are fully booked for our intended stay then we have no choice but to switch our stay to Ritz Carlton KL. Hope Shangri-La can do the needful to ensure that we will be able touse the Horizon Club during our stay always. Shang Palace - the food there has somewhat lost its refineness. We had a bad experience at dinner on 31.08.2023 having to forego a plate of noodles being too salty. The Waiter apologised but we were somewhat disappointed. Now we have our meals at the Horizon Club and at Xin Cuisine at The Concorde Hotel across the street. I did not make any fuss over it so as not to spoiled the Birthday Stay at the Hotel Suite.

Breakfast We are regulars at Shangri-La and as such the food at Horizon Club which is good but can be improved especially the varieties. Remember not all guest are alcohoic drinkers but food enthusiasts

Breakfast was not to my liking as the food was not as delicious as the reviews had stated. I didn't like the head staff at the breakfast area as well as she was not pleasant, was rather sulky, and may be, thought she was running the military. She is in dire need of a professional crash course - sorry. A little knife would be much appreciated to peel and cut the fruits in the room.

It had the most comfortable bed, and I slept like a baby! It was a stay I will remember for a long, long time - an adventure, actually. Most of the staff were ever so pleasant at all times. I loved the complementary fruits and easy access to the spa and health club.
