My wife is extremely particular on every crook and nook of the room. She noticed the lighting in the room contains dust and spider webs. And we still sleep underneath some of these. 😫

Everything was great. It would have been nice if the outdoor restaurant started serving food earlier, in time for lunch, but there were other options available.

The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The location was great - a short ride from the airport, city, and attractions. The hotel was clean and it had amazing facilities. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. A wonderful stay!

My stay at the Shangri-la was so enjoyable. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained. The service from the staff is top-notched, especially Elizabeth at the reception counter. When she learned that I was celebrating my wedding anniversary, she went out of her way to make my stay extra special. I received a room upgrade, a surprise fruit platter, flowers, chocolates and even a handwritten card!!! My husband and I were so blessed by her and the rest of the friendly staff. The facilities, special Thursday Borneo fire-eating show, breakfast and lovely grounds all made our stay extra special. Thank you, Shangri-la!

There are 3 different pools (Toddler, kids and adult). My son enjoys the water play area and beach very much. The sunset in the evening is superb. There is a fire dance show on Thursday which is so amazing.

The furniture in the rooms a bit aged but still maintained well though..

I can see team work. I can see how the meticulous works are done in the management,makes Shangrila outstanding. Coming from Sarawak, I applause the hotel for keeping the Sabahan vibes for the visitors by playing the traditional instruments/wearing traditional costumes at the main entrance. The staffs were very pleasant and doing their parts well too. Well done to all!

Refrigerator was not working but was resolved quickly after contacting service desk. It's very important for us as we need to store milk for our baby. The resort does look like it's ageing and need maintenance in general to maintain its look.

We been here a few times. They have fantastic and friendly staff. Great place for children as they have facilities such as indoor playground, indoor activity room etc. They could provide a high chair and baby bottle steriliser to the room. We loved their breakfast buffet. Lots of variety of cuisine. We also loved their longe where they have live singers/music. Great area to relax and have a drink. Overall, Great place to relax and unwind from the world of work. Will definitely return again when we travel to Sabah next time.

Check in process was a bit slow but there was a waiting lounge.

Staff are friendly and professional, room was upgraded to kids room, breakfast was excellent, and most important was the water park. Will definitely return in future.

Everything is so costly.

Fabulous facilities. Family can spend whole day doing activities in resort not going out of resort. Gameroom, football, swimming. Sunset is spectacular. Staff are friendly. Fast check in and out. Standard breakfast for a 5star resort.
