Fridge is way too small unfortunately. Perhaps they want you to patronise the restaurant which is quite expensive naturally. No mosquito net over the bed which is not good as my husband got bitten quite badly while sleeping.

The lower pool was very nice. Perling House location within The Dusun is perfect. It was secluded and quiet (except when the cleaner is sweeping in the early mornings!). The pool filter was making humming sounds when we arrived but I think the staff solved the issue. It was quiet the next day. Love the architectural concept of the house and the entire property. Its definitely a place you go to read a book from start to end!

The staff and service are basic. The male receptionist during our visit was not the most hospitable, grumpy or standoffish even, I am not sure. Almost like he was bothered when we asked for help or directions. The trail guide didn't show up, and thankfully we asked as no one told us until we showed up in the office. We arrived with things and backpacks and our hands were full, the male staff who received us showed us to the cottage, kept looking back to check but never offered to help. A simple gesture could go a long way, but totally unbothered.

Its location in the middle/by the rainforest where you can trek to the rainforest. It was a quiet property, ideal for relaxation. It has a basic kitchen for simple cooking but not much. It is enough for a weekend camp. Great view and surroundings, big trees and plants. The forest is view and backdrop of the property. There are swimming pools overlooking the valley. The female staff who connected with us on WhatsApp was responsive and helpful, organized taxi for us, gave instructions about our stay. She is super helpful.

Too many holes inside the structure, so since they didn’t provide any mosquitoes spray, we’ve got bitten all over the body during our sleep. Also, they’ve arranged a local taxi for ourselves and it has arrived 40 minutes later than what we were told, so we almost ended up missing our train to Kuala Lumpur because of it.

The whole structure was very nice, also the pool and it’s surroundings.

No staff to assist after office hours,very limited food options, and no staff on Wednesday. Kind of disappointing only can contact through whatsapp.Nobody recommended or guide in what kind of outdoor activities are available.

1. Limited food access, not many restaurants and you need to book your food in advance. 2. We stayed in tembusu, it is an open concept house, without windows. Different experience but definitely having some difficulties in sleeping 3. Since there is no entertainment including TV, u should bring your own board games or do something, else u will be stuck with your smart gadgets. 4.Internet connection can be slow at time. 5. The road up is very steep and u will need some skill

Overall it was a wonderful experience for short escape in the busy world. If you are looking for something nature, this would be the place to go to. There is a waterfall 3minutes away and hiking activity.

Wished we can get wifi from our rooms but it is not a major problem as we can get the wifi from the cafe/restaurant area.

Love the villa/chalet that is open concept & overlooking the mountains/jungle view. The wooden balcony very nice for morning yoga exercises. 2 pools at the area . The management prepared the mosquitoes incense coil so we can use it at night. Very close to nature & lots of fruit trees around

Understand that we should be appreciating the nature, but i had a bunch of ants sneaked into my luggage and followed me home. which im very sad with it. And there was mice or mouse eaten my brand new loaf of breads, i have to eat maggie in cup for my breakfast. hahah.

You really have to be a full nature person for this hike. You have to enjoy being surrounded by the jungle orchestra and withstand hot tempratures during this time of year June-July. There werre too many mosqitoes so I didnt venture out far.

I just can’t stand with the amount of lizards roaming inside the room. I dont feel comfortable with the insects. The lizards are very disturbing but the staff help us to get rid of the lizards by spraying them.

I love the entire stay. The facilities, view, cleanliness, and the staff everything are best. I booked this stay for my husband’s birthday and he really loved the entire stay. I would say this place is the best place for couples. I booked the berembun house.
