Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No way to get in after 10pm if security guard not present in reception area. Young male on reception not particularly helpful. No fridge in room.
Location - very handy to bus & ferry terminals. Older male on reception who checked us in was extremely helpful.

Need more electrical outlet and close to the bed. Maybe one shampoo and body soap.

Some part of the hotel room like the television not having enough channels, a bit blurry. The air-conditioning is a bit confusing when used sometimes cold sometimes just breezy. One of the rooms got a fan but still one of the plugs needed constant maintenance checking. The parking near the hotel is expensive unless you parked nearby and need to get up early to change to another parking spot. (Debatable).
The place was quiet and relaxing. You can sleep comfortably especially after a day of activities with ease. Have been checking in 3 times. Both were decent! Near a cafe. Decent staff! Clean and very nice. Love the atmosphere of how quiet the place is at night. You can easily sleep well without any noises from outside. The room is quite big too! Spacious.

The room is quite near to the road and it is a bit noisy at night. There’s open parking space (need to pay) but still a bit struggle to find one at night
The bed is quite large than what I expected. The room and bathroom is spacious. There’s room make up daily. The hotel located in the city so we can walk around to explore

I have booked 2 room in this hotel. 1 is family room 401 & 1 is twin room 405 (which I stayed). We stayed 3 nights. 1. Second night of our stay, the door access card cannot open our door room, both of the room. Actually 1st night we check in, the door access card for room 401 is already showing us it’s not working, after I have tried numerous only can open the door. Plus the room air conditioner is hot. Omg 2. On the 2nd night also, I was stayed in room 405 & when we back to our room by 10pm & after they re-activate our room access card, once we open & enter the room there is a smoking smell, very strong smell in the room which we don’t even know came from where entering the room. I feel so angry but no one there to log a report (only 1 security guard). The 3rd night also the same, even after I have reported to them.
Nothing but 1, it’s near to ferry terminal and food hunting.

Check out time was 12.00 but our flight was in the evening. we were not allowed to keep the baggage in the hotel after vacating the room which was surprising. This service is allowed everywhere..

However the room was facing the road and at night, passersby would be very loud and the sounds would wake my mother up every now and then

My room was very close to the lift so it can be noisy.
