Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

They could cater to have basic items like coffee,tea & sugar, updated kitchen cutterly & crockery. Towels to match the amount of people booked. Make sure that you can actually use the bed side lamps (there was no wall plugs near them to plug them in) minor adjustments....
Price , size, comfy beds, furniture, cleanliness and facilities. Working air conditioners...Friendliness of staff. Very comfy place to stay.

The bulb at the hallway after the main entrance was not working (probably fused). The wash room door makes a creaky noise when it is opened or closed and it couldn't be closed properly.The interior will look more attractive if it is given a colour wash as the wall paint is somewhat discoloured and flaky.
The place is centrally located and provides you with a good place for an overnight transit stay in Windhoek for a family on a safari in Namibia. It was clean and comfortable. Good value for money for a family of 3.

There were signs of wear and the apartment was next to a very busy road.
Central location, great value for money. Large apartement with nice lounge and adequate kitchen. The apartment had a washing machine but we never used it.

Room was a little smaller than expected. Not the establishment's fault but there was a guest making a lot of noise at 5am about some issue they were having.
Good value for money, cozy room, very well equipped and very friendly front door and reception staff.

There is a problem with the reception. The reception officer and the security guard at the entrance initially show benevolence. They had promised to adjust me the airport taxi, but they did not keep their words! They stalled me with false statements and left me in a very difficult situation. I almost missed the plane because I trusted them. I got stressed at the facility until I found a taxi myself. Before I went to Namibia, I had positive thoughts for the people of the country. However, the last day facility officials turned all my positive feelings negative. I wish they didn't lie to me so much. Those who could not manage to call a simple taxi embarrassed the people of Namibia in my eyes. It's a pity!
The location and cleaning of the facility is very good.
