The wall between bathroom and bedroom has a gap in the upper Part. You cant see each other, but you can hear everything, and you cant hang Up the Windows in the bathroom, so the opposite bungalow can have a Look inside

The Bungalows are so cozy and well decorated, the beds have a heating blanket, which is amazing specially for Swakopmund, because Here it geta cold fast. The Location is near the City, you can reach everything by foot. The Bungalows in the Back have a view in the ocean which is great. Breakfast was tasty

The rooms on stilts are unbelievable and the view on the atlantic from the balcony wonderful. The beds even had warming blankets - how perfect in winter. The room itself was pretty well insulated. Breakfast was nice.

Staff were very friendly, nice view over the ocean. We visited Stiltz Guest House in winter and we were provided with heater and electric blankets.

The location is very good and I like the unique style and design. We were a group of 4 staying in room 1 (no view) and room 6 (sea view). While in room 6 everything was okay, room 1 seemed to have some maintenance issues as the toilet was making weird noises, also the bathroom was quite claustrophobic. While the design is unique, other properties in this price range have a bit more of an attentive touch when it comes to the small things like proper amenities (soap, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion should be standard). Otherwise all good.

It would have been better to stay longer!

We enjoyed every minute. Excellent staff! Big roomy accommodations, good comfortable beds with great linens. Comfy couch and nice coffee station and mini bar. See the birds and even camels as you walk to breakfast. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to beach and several eateries. Easy walk to downtown shops.

our room was the closest to the road so it was quite noisy at times. There seemed to be some sort of car/bike meeting in the local neighbourhood so lots of revving engines which was a pain. If you do stay try and get a room nearer the water as these are farthest from the road and probably have a better view too. Maybe they only give the rooms nearer the road to Booking.com clients!

View from balcony close to ocean and Swakop River. The guest house was on stilts, over the dunes. The cottage itself was very comfortable with little fridge in room, bug spray which was useful as it was the rainy season. The staff was EXCELLENT and VERY HELPFUL, pleasant and COURTEOUS……Elsie, Silas, Johnny were some of the names I recall but there were others! Breakfast was served in an adjacent cottage… a variety of eggs cooked to order, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, breakfast meats and delicious coffee . The office was willing to keep our luggage on site and we left our rental car in the parking lot adjacent to the office while we took a 2 day, 1 overnight desert tour.

Really nothing that I could fault in this place. They even bring me a table to work at. Actually the rooms could do with a small table to sit and work.

Love everything about Stiltz, great breakfast, great staff, great location and amazing accomodation. Theye even bring me a table to the room so that I can work. Will always go back!

We loved our cabin at Stiltz - it was roomy, built with natural materials, very nicely decorated and super comfy. The walkways of the lodge gave great views over the ocean and we saw various birds and even camels. The staff was super friendly and kind, the shower was great and the beds were really comfortable. Definitely recommend!
