As I was with a crutch due to recent operation I would have preferred higher couch etc but dealt with the issue.

Breakfast 1 st day was there. The host Timar was exceptional. Her help was very much appreciated. The car was ready for us .

The location was excellent as it was very close to the shops. The unit was self contained and had all the necessary equipment for preparing meals. It was a well appointed unit in all respects. Having access to a rental car was a plus.

With such a tropical location, it was disappointing that the gardens around the entrance and the individual villas were not kept as nice as around the exit of the property.

No breakfast supplied. Location very good. Timar was excellent host. Very convenient to have a car on request. Nice touch for the waiting area for the bus and the help yourself bananas. It was very considerate that we had a late checkout at 1:45pm as it would have been a vey long day for a 10:00am checkout.

Nothing that was important. Didn't use the pool or the spa bath in our unit. Not needed when there is not enough water locally.

They advertised a car included which was why we booked but you then had to pay per day for car insurance. This should be indicated or made clearer when you book. We could have got a lot better deal for the same room at the same resort on another accomodation booking site as we found out a car is included with all bookings and the insurance is always an extra cost. Thought there was a spa on the balcony as per the pictiures but the spa was a spa bath in the bathroom.

The Resort manager was extremely friendly and welcoming. The welcome pack of bread, milk and eggs was appreciated given the lack of food options on island. You can't go to Norfolk and expect 5 star accomodation as it isn't available. The Resort seemed good value in comparsion to other options on island and was central to the main street,

We had expected hotel accommodation, not self catering, but that was our problem, not the Cumberland.

The resort looks a bit run down, but the rooms are newly refurbished, with everything provided and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Cumberland provided a starter kit of food and necessities, that was great for our initial stay. The package included a car that ready to go on arrival, very handy although the resort is within easy walking distance of Burnt Pine.

Pleasantly surprised with food provided. Well equiped kitchen. Towels big and thick, also toiletries were nice. Bed very comfortable, enjoyed good nights sleeps. Car included was great. Booked tours were good. Everything ran very smoothly. Thank you.

Central location. Two very private, comfortable, adjacent rooms (the one-bed plus two-bed villas). The included hire car. Private BBQ(s) on our balconys. Rael & Tima’s hospitality & willingness to assist with any requests was perfect. Entertainment options via tv or dvd.

Apartment was good but a little dated and not very comfortable. We booked as two single occupants so we were OK but 2 couples may find it too small. Apartment 3 layout is somewhat awkward with no internal dining table but other apartments onsite may be better. Apartment 3 needs refurbishing. Not really what we expected for a 4 star rating.

There are some older and newer rooms; try to get one of the newer ones. IT communications across the whole island are a bit of a problem so Foxtel, mobile phones, etc can be frustrating

The location close to Burnt Pine shops and many of the restaurants is excellent. Tima, the manager, was very helpful with her advice and support. The range of facilities was very good although some are a bit dated

The location was fabulous, close to Burnt Pine and village amenities. Lovely private space and room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having a rental car included was a bonus as they are a must on the island to get around, especially at night as it is so dark.
