It was not clean. Bathroom was not clean.

What I liked it was the security, because we went out at night, then we arrived at 3 am and there were a guard opening the door.

Home turned into a hostel.. nice location with cheap price but not a sociable typical hostel.. i was almost alone for 2 days in my large 10 bed dorms.. Its a place if one wants just to crash into bed with silence.. else go to pachamama or other party hostel..!

The kitchen is not clean or equipped to be used by guests. The appliances need to be replaced and things like the fridge should be left on when guests things are in there (like yogurt and milk).

It was private and the bed was comfortable. Easy accessible from town and safe at night. There were even extra pillows, towels and soap. There is also a closet if needed.

They put us in the hostel next door, I guess because they ran out of room. So I had to go through registration twice, once at each hostel. The rooms were decent, but the bathrooms were small and sometimes dirty.

Lovely little hostel very close to the beach and the center. The room was good and the bed comfortable, everything you need. And they had free coffee and water which was a nice touch.

DO NOT STAY HERE - our room was dirty, dark and completely flooded so that there was a centimetre of water covering the entire room. Our belongings got absolutely soaked and ruined and the owner and hotel staff did nothing to apologise or compensate us

There were bugs in our bed and they were crawling in our stuff and in the pillow. The staff was not friendly. The rooms got very hot and even the fan didn't cool us down.

The location was great! It over all was very quiet and peaceful.

The room was clean 👌 and excellent for staying, the beach is just some meters away , and the local market is near, so you can do your groceries 😀 if you want. We enjoyed it so much!

Dirty kitchen. I get it, travellers can be very dirty but if you dont put any effort into cleaning common areas, it will get disgusting. It already is. The hostel offers free water, but there was none for the whole afternoon. The owner was always saying that they are coming with new one...it took 2 more hours. Poor planning, all the hostels we have visited before had always so many barrels ready, here they had maximum of 2 or like this case, 0. Last morning there was no gas. Would be cool to have spare one ready, but of course there was none, so no proper breakfast. The hostel did not have running water for 2 days. Okay, that can happen, but so far all hostels that faced such issues had huge barrel filled with water in the bathroom for such situations. This hostel does not have that. At least we got a bucket of water after complaining, so we could at least flush the toilet. How nice!

There is not much we liked actually. It is a cheap hostel with loads of issues. They solved them eventually, although very slowly. In the end we got recompensation of 10 dollars, which is definitely nice, but would be better to improve the planning so future visitors do not need to face these issues, which are generally easily solvable.

Again its not a nice place aesthetically or anything and there were bugs around. That doesn't bother me much but if it bothers you just be aware.

The place itself is not nice at all, not very charming or anything, but has the necessary things (beds, bathrooms, mirror, fan) and is what you can expect for the price. It does the trick for a cheap place to stay. No AC, we didnt encounter much in Nicaragua, but the fan above the bed was very powerful and kept us cool throughout the night which was great.

At arrival be careful paying cash, the chaos created disagreements. Instead of cleaning they sprayed really nice toilet refresher. Besides they make you feel very welkom by locking the front door with more locks than any decent prison. besides it’s a funny game to play Russian roulette with the fans that do not work.

The room had dirty walls, the bathroom was also not too clean, there was a big bug in the room, it was loud in the night until 2AM, the overall design of the room and the hostel is just not pleasant.

Sheet kept coming off the bed - seemed quite old WiFi was weak in our room (but fine in communal area) Fan was a bit dodgy - took a while to work after turning on the switch
