Did not really have a place to lounge . The pool didn’t have any deck chairs , just a bench and table which is not particularly comfortable .

The location and views are spectacular to see the surf and surfers . The sunsets were great

Look to be honest it needs a foreigner go through and sort them out. Service is average but more importantly the place is dirty everywhere. They just wipe stuff on the floor and carry on. 2 days that place could look mean. Then put them on regularly cleaning. Staff need to clean not sit around. Probably dead crabs but the bar area smelled pretty bad

No kitchen if you stay in dorms so not for those who like to cook sometime. Restaurant is quite expensive as they add 18% tax on the prices but you can't resist to have a drink at least with the amazing view. One cheap soda closeby. Was so hot there as the rock is exposed a lot to the sun.

Amazing view, can check popoyo waves and even Santana from the top of the hostel. Great facilities in the main building. Cental location and cool staff. Possibility to stay in dorms in this great place at affordable price, just missing a kitchen and would have been quite perfect.

I wished the dorms had more of a common space, but it was nice to be able to spend time in the cafe and on the front porch space.

Amazing views from the cafe and overall the staff was amazing. We stayed in one of the dorms and the other surfers were very good vibes. It was also great to be walking distance from multiple surf spots.

Internet wifi doesn't reach well in the apartment, but it's available in the lobby and restaurant, the double bed was a little bit small.

Amazing location, near by the beach with awesome view from the sea, space in the apartment was big. Restaurant serves really good food and accept card payment.

The biggest issue is that the room we were put it (which already had water stains all over the walls) in the middle of the night during a storm had two major leaks of dirty rainwater streaming through the roof. This coupled with the foundations shaking badly, not a normal shake a massive one, with the thunder. They had to emergency move us to another room in the middle of the night. That same day the water supply to the room was not working for a few hours. This also happened in the new room. We needed to call and ask for maintenance. The power cut out ALL the time. The wifi was down for the majority of the trip. The pool is moldy and most areas of the space are moldy and mildewy (but that’s the least of our concerns) I would have left this place but I got food poisoning after their restaurant’s taco night and was too sick to leave.

The hotel sits right above the magnificent rock and the rooms overlook the beach too. All the views are just amazing. It is beachfront although it’s a pretty long walk down a rock path to the beach itself since it’s high up, but the walk is very tropical and cute. It’s close to other cafes and restaurants down the hill (which is a good option since those are much more affordable and tasty).

Mag Rock is overpriced for what it is. Our room was dirty. The bathroom was deteriorating and didn't function great. The building is a little decrepit. The restaurant music is horrible and loud. They changed the menu while we were there to crappy fast-food style.

Stuff is very rude. The first morning I ordered breakfast which was Torá overpriced - 8 dollars for an omelette without a single slice of bread. It said fruit is included. As they didn’t bring it I asked for it and the waitress seemed to be really annoyed instead of apologising for forgetting

Facilities bellow average. Stuff was rude and not helpful. I stayed there for couple of nights and always rented a surfboard. On my last day I wanted to rent it as well and they told me I only can rent half a day because the boards are only for guests and I already checked out. I talked to manager and asked him to leave him a caution/documents etc to be able to use and pay it also in the afternoon. Anyway they had all my data from my booking. At the end I had to rent it at another place. But there were plants of the surfboards available

Restaurant prices were quite expensive and the time of year I went (mid October) it could be tough to get food after 7pm some nights from the other local spots.

Beautiful spot on the cliff overlooking the surfers. Loved the pool outside and the pool table. Reasonable prices for surf rentals and organizing lessons. Really nice yoga spot on the upper level. Staff was very friendly.
