The loose toilet seat was still loose after a week! On the floor there was a pistache nut that was already there the week before; that says something about the (lack of proper) cleaning. Did not like the La Place one little bit.

All tough in my confiirmation it stated WIFI in the rooms, there is zero WIFI. Which is not from this day and age anymore and I had to do some work which I couldn't finish. Overall dated, dirty carpets and no coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Room on side of street (roundabout) noisy.

Since the change to "La Place" the restaurant went completely downhill. The staff could not care less, were even rude, some did not even understand English. Takes ages to fry a few eggs and pour coffee.

Efficiency and friendliness of the staff who did everything they could to meet our requests!!

The hotel room was very tired and really needs a lick of paint or better, a full refurbishing - but that's what you pay for, it is good value for money at well below 100 euros for a Saturday night stay. The room smelled nasty though, and that is not necessary - could have opened the window to let some air in. The mattress was very soft for my liking, I guess that's personal preference but I would say it was the softest I have seen for years (and I stay in dozens of hotel rooms each year).

The breakfast was very good - thanks to the refurbished 'LaPlace' restaurant in the building. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff, which made up for the very tired looking hotel.

We had three noisy nights in a row. First two nights they were resurfacing the road 25m from our room, till midnight. (Not something the hotel could do anything about). On the the third night there seemed to be something wrong with the plumbing and we had the sound of rushing water all night. However the biggest issue was that when the bathroom door was open the room smelled like a public toilet. I think someone needs to look at their plumbing! No wifi in the rooms, only in reception.

Good location for seeing the local area and getting to other cities like Amsterdam. Good sized, clean room, with comfortable beds. TV choices very limited - only CNN in English. Good choice for the breakfast - although it was initially difficult to work out how the buffet system worked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.

The room didn't give an impression of being thoroughly cleaned. While seeming clean and tidy at first sight, when I lifted the toilet seat I found urine stains. Also, despite advertising 24h reception desk, there was nobody on the reception desk at 5AM when we checked out.

The hotel is conveniently placed by the highway. It is very close to Schiphol airport if you are travelling by car. There was no noise whatsoever in the rooms and the staff was friendly at checkin. There is also a very nice supermarket in the ground floor of the same building.

The Hotel part of the building has not changed but is about to undergo refurbishment. It definitely needs it. WiFi does not currently work in the Hotel Rooms which are old and tired but are large and fairly comfortable. The servicing of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired and is very inconsistent. You never know what items will be replaced/changed when your room is serviced. Another dislike is the smokers that congregate around the front entrance, this should not be allowed.

Have stayed at this Hotel a few times. The restaurant has been replaced with a "La Place" type eatery. This is an improvement. Breakfast is quite good and is an IKEA type of experience. The Reception staff are very friendly and good at what they do. There is always plenty of free parking if you travel with car. There is a McDonalds right next door if you fancy a burger.

The room and furniture were very old. Wall paper is coming off the wall. The bathroom is very old fashioned and because of the age I guess it isn't possible to get it completely clean. Furthermore it was very noisy with sounds outside (cars and people outside at parking) and you could here when other guests in other rooms were using the shower. The doors close very loudly.

The bed was comfortable, and there was more than enough space. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of choice. Great restaurant.

The inn advertises itself as having a restaurant but it is not much better than a motorway cafe., in fact the cafe(La Place) is part of a chain of rest stop cafes and , although attached to the hotel, it is a separate business. At times the breakfasts were quite good, but it catered for large bus parties and if you arrived for a meal after them there was little to eat! Cereal was served in a small bowl for everyone, holding no more than two small helpings, this was a nonsense as the servers had to continually refill it and often there was no one to do so.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was fine too with an efficient shower. The receptionists were friendly and informative.

WiFi not working in the rooms which was very disappointing. Cleaning and re-stocking of the rooms was very haphazard. The Hair Dryer provided in the room is ancient from the 1970's but you can get a good one from reception. Hotel is looking very run-down and is in urgent need of a makeover. Allowing people to smoke right outside the entrance is not good.

Good location if you travel by car. Good strong hot water in the shower. Staff very friendly especially Inga in the restaurant. Included Breakfast was quite good especially the fresh Orange Juice. We were given a small bottle of wine to makeup for the disappointment re the WiFi. Both the good and bad news is that this hotel was much like the US hotels that provide travelers easy access to and from the highway-complete with a Mickey D's.

Directly off the highway so it was easy to find and perfect for a quick start to Keukenhoff in the morning. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day.

The room temperature! even with open window in the spring it was far too hot to sleep decently. There was also no pressure on the shower with as a result a lukewarm shower.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location is very good, just far enough from the A4 and close to schiphol airport.

    N/A Great stay!

The Tulip Inn was recommended to us. Exceeded all expectation. We had a problem with the bathroom light. Reported to the front desk, went to dinner, and when we returned the light was fixed. That type of prompt attention doesn't always happen everywhere you go.

We had a meal in the hotel at night and there was only one table available which was near a door and as people were going outside to smoke it became rather chilly, we placed our order for what was a reasonably priced meal, the soup was tasty and warming, we ordered three steaks two medium which were ok, but one of our party preferred their steak well done and it was medium cooked similar to the other two. One person asked for potatoes boiled which were on the menu, but we all received chips and were told that there wasn't any potatoes. The service was rather slow as the staff appeared to be a little thin on the ground and our waitress said she started at 11.00am and the ime then was 9.15pm.

The breakfast was very good, there were cereals; hot breakfast items fresh fruit and yoghurts with a choice of lovely fresh breads and croissants etc all on a serve yourself, eat what you like basis.

Rooms were serviceable without being too comfortable but what was required after a long flight. No milk on the in room tray, some road noise but not enough to disturb

Good breakfast, smaller selection but well presented and being a buffet, unlimited. Room was not overheated as so many are and there was an opening window

On the reservation i asked for a room with carpet (i'm dust allergic). When i arrived at the reception they told me that they don't have rooms without carpet... well, makes sense, but in this case they had to contact me before or decline the reservation. Anyway, The carpet was super dirty and there was a bad stink of smoke in the room.

Beds need to be updated. Lumpy pillows need to be replaced. Smelly smokers hanging around at the hotel entrance. Noisy busloads of people arriving at 11pm banging doors and generally being annoying. Mould in shower needs to be properly cleaned. Some of the breakfast staff need to have their customer service skills improved. The common areas of the Hotel are ok but the rooms need to be refreshed and updated.

Breakfast was ok. Wifi was good and easy to connect. Free parking always available. Close to A4 motorway. Good large bath separate from shower. One of the Breakfast staff is awesome and the others need to learn from her.

No fridge in the room ... would have been nice to be able to keep our bottled water chilled.

Lovely big room, and a full sized bath! It may not have been the room we booked, however. We arrived very late, but the staff were still very welcoming. The lock to our original room was malfunctioning, so we were given a different room, plus coffees as a gesture of good will because of the difficulty. Breakfast next day was comprehensive and delicious, and the dining room was spacious, calm, and well-presented.
