There was no WifI in the rooms and they won't be getting any until May. Taxis are very expensive as this hotel is not near any towns

The water tab of the bathtub was leaking a bit, but that wasn't such a big deal.

We really loved the quietness which we didn't expect because of the near highway. The breakfast was superb.

    1. Earlier the reception area was good and felt so welcome...now it is terrible with no place to stand or ask for a glass of water even!!!! 2. With La Place sub-contacted....breakfast is a shame. 3. This time no internet....warning to business travellers.

Stayed many many times earlier....good bed and rooms

    Everything

Building works going on disrupted normal operation of hotel. It should Have been closed at this time. But the bedrooms - unaffected by the building works - were so bad. Old fashioned, dark, depressing

Carpet in public areas looking Dowdy One mattress had seen better days, soft and sagging No tea or coffee making facilities in room No fridge or minibar in room Long trek from reception to room, virtually a separate building

Very efficient and friendly reception staff Very clean Good shower except for the curtain Desk unit, but needs more power points Very close to motorway, but no noticable traffic noise

Food options in the restaurant not great. I was very much looking forward to a gin & tonic from the bar but they didn't have any tonic, nor bitter lemon - I was offered Fanta (no thanks!). Glass of red wine was pretty horrible too alas. A few flies in the restaurant made it rather unpleasant.

Convenient for the motorway en route to Germany. Comfy bed and very clean. Friendly staff. Ask for a quiet room.

No air con in the bedrooms, very warm as it was 32c in may when we went. Some members of staff were rudelighted particularly the lady chef cooking the food in the restaurant.

Nice airy reception and restaurants etc. Nice outdoor space for relaxing in the evening. Great location for a football tournament we were attending. Nice and quiet hotel. Decent breakfast and nice dominoes pizza within hotel.

The hotel does not have air-conditioning which can be a problem with 30c. The room was clean and spacious but looking slightly tired.

Good location just off A67 motorway. If horses are of interest then Sevenum is the place for you. We often use this hotel for a stopover. Large area for relaxing and eating snacks. There is also a restaurant, haven't tried it yet. Large free car park.

Very thin duvets / quilts, needed to 2 extra. Garden door could not open, only in a ventilation position, in order to prevent smoking on the room. A bit old fashioned furniture and bathroom. This hotel needs an upgrade.

The beds, very nice! Quiet, though the hotel is near a motorway.

No kettle in rooms, I normally bring my own tea so I just had to keep going to the self service area to get hot water, but the machines were turned off at 8-9pm.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, lovely deep bath and shower. Large variety of food available and we received complimentary breakfast for 3 nights which helped us hugely.

Very under-staffed hotel, sometimes no bar staff at all as she was having to work on reception when someone was checking in, so no one to serve, in the end we left and went to the bar over the road on two occasions. Also, the bar closes at 11pm!! which I have never come across in any hotel in any country before in my life (again this is probably because they're under staffed). Staff also stressed and rude. In general, a nice hotel but it's a shame about the lack of staff and the rude ones that are working there. One other point, there is no air conditioning in the rooms which is ok most of the year, but we was there when it was 40 degrees heat

    Modern hotel, food very good

Would have liked a kettle and possibly a small fridge in the room.

Friendly and accomodating staff. The extremely convenient location for us, near a motorway junction, but far enough away to not hear the traffic.

If we had stayed in the EU it would have been cheaper. NO KETTLE

Location, Cleanliness, Staff very helpful, excellent dinner. It's a nice "no frills" cheap hotel that actually does have a few frills. WiFi was the best I've had anywhere and KPN allowed other hotspots away from the hotel.
