It was not quite as advertised. A great stay, but things were missing. There was no crib for the baby, which they had told me was available. Something was wrong with the pipes so the breakfast which was included was at another hotel down the street. There was no access to some of the amenities listed.

The location is amazing! Steps from Vondelpark and other tourist sites, yet still quiet and out of the main/noisy areas. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Service was very good! The receptionist provided useful advise for our stay in The Netherlands. Rooms and toilets are clean, beds are comfortable, and you have free tea and coffee downstairs. Would come back if I ever visit Amsterdam as well

There was a coffee machine and tea available in the ground floor lounge but no kettle or way to make a drink in the room. this would be fine but it was all locked up until 7.45 am so it was impossible to get a hot drink first thing in the morning.

Very quiet location yet only 4 minutes walk to tram line 2. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were lovely.

Had a little of a view. If you have a better room that is available during that time give it to your guest Especially when they tell you that they are local the other problem was I had a broken shoulder and I was offered no help whatsoever which is kind of sad. Other than that the property is lovely and of course the location is sublime.

I understand that they are new owners and they're in the midst of updating this hotel. It is in need of some TLC. Can't wait to see the finished product in the future.

This hotel is located next to beautiful Vondelpark. The location is quiet and well located. The staff is fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and was held at their sister hotel because of renovation. Beds were extremely comfortable. I would like to stay in that room again if given the chance.

I was asked to sign a document that I promised to not smoke in the room, something I've never seen before. Also, the access to the breakfast area was closed with a sliding garage door that prevented us from having tea or coffee before our early departure. Both seemed really excessive.

Rooms are a bit dated. The facilities are clean but some things are old and a bit tatty.

The hotel is in desperate need of some care and renovation! We had a strong sewage smell in the bathroom, the lamps were falling off and it was super difficult to open and close the door of the room! There was no hairdryer in the room and, for some reason, the room service didn’t come. That is quite a long list of stuff and considering the high price, we would have expected a better service and general shape of the hotel!

Our stay was ok, but not more than that. The hotel has a really great location, a few minutes on foot from the museums and the very city centre. The beautiful parc right next to it is also worth visiting. the breakfast was nice and had everything we needed.

The fan in the bathroom was always on, which added a bit of noise to the room. The heating was high during the night, so it could be more difficult to sleep, light clothes are recommended even in winter. Breakfast is very expensive, and though it seems to be varied, doesn't seem to be value for money.

Location was excellent, next to Vondelpark and only a few minutes away from main museums. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a vintage vibe, with a few old things here and there, but everything was clean and comfy. They offered free coffee/tea/hot milk from the machine downstairs which was very convenient in the mornings. Many restaurants in the area, the ones we tried were very good. Supermarkets are 10 minutes away.

Some of the fixtures in the rooms are a little bit dated and could be upgraded over time, but this did not detract from the experience.

A lovely room with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with a big shower. The accommodation was quaint and situated close to public transport routes and the Vondel Park, which meant that we could easily go for strolls on our way to and from the various sights.
