Room for three was a bit small and basic.

Nice and friendly accommodation. Good breakfast and great hospitality from the host. Shared bathroom and toilet no problem as not many other guests can stay there...

The surroundings and the stay was magnificent and the view from the bedroom terrace outstanding. The small town of Edam is so cute and nice and only 10 minutes walk from the B&B. We had a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant, not to mention the lovely chocolate shop with homemade pralines. We would love to come back here.

Breakfast is made per order as we were the only guests there. There is no common area of the house, practically only the room is your only space plus aisle and bathroom. The rest of the house is private area - according to the induction they made upon arrival.

Quiet. In the residential compound and close to real dutch life.

    - the shared bathroom was excellent! - the bus station 2 min from the house + very inexpensive and can get you anywhere (Vollendam, Amsterdam, etc.) - the cats are so friendly, the kids loved them - owners always ready to tell you anything you need to know (which road to take, the weather, etc.)

It was a bit pricy for how far it was from our destination.

Very friendly accommodating staff. We were given exact easy directions to the park + ride into Amsterdam which was wonderful. They made a great breakfast and were very child friendly.

Lovely quiet location, comfortable walking distance from the beautiful town of Edam. Schiphol Airport is well under an hour's drive away. Kees and Brian are excellent hosts. The room was very comfortable and the shared bathroom was excellent. We liked this B&B enough for us to make this return visit.

    Not a thing.

This place was most charming. There is a beautiful garden on a canal from which you can watch a great assortment of bird life. The breakfast was wonderful as were the hosts and their two cats, one friendly and one timid (the cats, not the hosts) It was close to a bus stop. On the morning of my departure, Dees drove me to the bus station.

Kees was particularly helpful with our needs to acquire rain gear for our bike tour. He gave us a tour of Edam & then took us to Valendom by car. Breakfast fueled us well for our windy ride to Haarlem. A very good value as B&B Edam takes pride in its service.

This was a great place to stay. We spent 3 nights in this B&B and everything was perfect. The room was quite big and confortable, with a nice view on the countryside. Breakfast was good and aboundant. Edam is a nice small town, seems like a small Amsterdam, with everything you need to relax and enjoy nature. However, it is only 20km from the city center of Amsterdam, thus you can plan to have active life during the day and relax in the evening and night.

near the water so mosquitoes at the night zooming around our head. Poor baby got two bites.

the location is good. 10 mins walk to the Edam center. 2 mins to a bus station for 30mins ride to Amsterdam if don't want to drive into the big city. Wifi connection was good in our room. There is a drink station in the public area where you can have complimentary hot drinks or buy for cold drinks. I like the two cats in the garden. They have staff speak mandarin and Cantonese. The service is good.
