Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was some breakfast, coffee and tea while it was not included, so that was nice. The location was very quiet and easy to reach by metro. The owners were super friendly.

TurkeyBed was clean but room was a bit dirty, especially under the beds. Still quite acceptable. I was there on a cold day, stayed at a room with balcony, and at night it was really cold. But it might be ok for your standards.
Quite nice view and close to central. A good place for the price. Nice cafe at the entrance.

Belgium- Old-fashioned. - Our room was at the top floor and it was a bit cold (not possible to adjust the heating). - The "breakfast" is just a coffee with industrial pastries.
- Nice location in Delfshaven. - Near to a metro station (Coolhaven).

Czech RepublicThere were a lot of things “almost broken” in the room, like its hanging on the last straw. The room was okay to just sleep in, but nothing more, definitely only for those who are trying to low budget travel.
The location is good, there is a metro station 5 mins from the hotel. You have breakfast for free which was great - it is some sweet pastries (those long lasting ones that are packaged), waffles and you can make coffee in a machine - the really cheap machine coffee. or tea. There was room service. Nice big windows. I recommend for when you want to go low budget travelling - definitely not for some vacations.

Nice and quiet location, nice canal view from the window. Bed and the pillows were good. Also it had a fridge, tv and kettle in the room. Good budget room.

I had a pleasant stay ay Hotel Baan. I particlarly like that it is a cosy place. The hotel owners are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is very basic but there is free coffee all day long.

AustraliaThe bathroom/shower was slightly run down however for the price and location it was just what we required. The hotel had no elevator, the staff are happy to help with your bags however if you are an elderly guest, I would request a lower floor due to the stairs.
The hotel was clean and nicely presented and is located along a lovely canal to walk along. The staff were very friendly and it was an easy check in process. The property has bikes to hire for a cheap price as well as tea/coffee facilities for free in the lobby. I would recommend this place to a friend.
