The road can be a bit noisy but quiet at night

Setting is lovely, close to the national park and superb art gallery and sculpture garden. Great food and interested helpful staff

I found the staff incredibly unwelcoming and unpleasant. There was no comfortable area to relax, you would have to sit at the tables of the restaurant and order something. And the breakfast was more than average.

Room was small and not well ventilated, for the price I expected a slightly more luxurious facilities. The bathroom door did not lock. A larger table to seat two people in the room would have been nice, as well as a boiler and some tea perhaps?

Friendly staff, it was clean, proper breakfast included (coffee was not bad at all!), nice bed, awesome location near Veluwe for hiking, free parking, adequate heating. Some proper restaurants within driving distance.

The rooms are only accessible via steep stairs. The walls are not that thick so the noises from the corridor can be heard. Though since people mostly only sleep there it's not a big problem. The staff is friendly in a sense that they help you with your requests, but some came off as a bit dispassionate. Maybe it was just a bit of insecurity with English vocabulary, but either way the usage of some more phrases like "Sorry/Please/you may/ you may not/ I recommend etc." would definitely help.

The location is perfect: it's only couple of minutes on foot from the park and is directly next to bus stop. The breakfast and the food in general is very generous, diverse, tasty and of high quality. The dining area is cozy and nicely furnished. The fireplace makes a good atmosphere. They have baby bed to rent.

No refreshments were offered on my arrival after a long journey by car and there was no kettle in the room to make a hot drink. I found the bar/lounge closed by 9pm on my return from a long day out.

The atmosphere was relaxed, hotel staff were helpful but not overbearing. The breakfast area was attractive with plenty choice for different tastes and unlimited hot drinks. Secure bicycle store on site.

The first thing that confronts you when you enter the door is a horribly steep flight of marble-clad steps up to the accommodation above the bar and restaurant - it's like the north face of the Eiger, and there is no lift! They really need to put this prominently on the hotel description - it's totally unsuitable for the elderly or people with limited mobility - very poor accessibility. At breakfast there were no cloths to hold the loaves of bread with when you cut them, which I felt was unhygienic. Strange cold, hard flooring made of something like tiny beads, though the room was clean enough. I didn't find the bed very comfortable.

The location is good for Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Krõller-Müller museum. The restaurant, for evening meals, was excellent - we had very good food in the evening, and the restaurant staff were friendly. A varied breakfast spread including bacon and eggs.

Staff not the friendliest when checking in, although I was early I left my luggage to go for a walk. Was given a room looking out towards the main road, so asked if another more quiet room is available, so at least got a better room with view of backyard and nice bath. No hair dryer. No kettle in room.

We stayed at this hotel for one day on our plan to visit hoge velwe national park. The hotel is situated very close to honderloo groep bus stop and the view is scenic all around. One of the national park entrances is around 400meters from the hotel. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, the hotel staffs were very polite and helpful. They made us comfortable with ordering the best of dutch cuisine. The food was excellent and so was the ambience.Check in was quick and hassle free. I would recommend this hotel if anyone plans to visit Hoge velwe national park(which in itself was a great experience)

Bed could be bigger. The bath in our room was difficult to get out of. Also we had to carry our cases up to flights of stairs. No lift. Possibly worth noting for older clients.

It was on walking distance (200 meters) of the entrance of the Hoge Veluwepark where you could make use of the free white bikes. The hotel is just near the forest. The hotel has a cosy ambiance.

Compact rooms with cramped bathrooms, shower curtains that attack your legs when the water is turned on. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms - it is available from the restaurant downstairs but chargeable. Restaurant a little pricey (probably to keep the riff-raff out)

Ideal woodland location on the edge of town - just a short walk to the Hogue Veluwe National Park - very good breakfast, nice little balcony, plenty of parking.

The room was clean , the Douche was the best I had during a three week tour of Germany and the low countries. The meal was far and above the star rating, and was as good as the Posthouse in Apeldoorn. the staff were friendly and as soon as they realised that my Dutch was non-existent flicked into English immediately. I can,and will recommend this hotel to my acquaintances and will stay there again, but for longer next time.
