The first day the floor was not well cleaned and there was also some dust on the table, the second day it was cleaner. There were also some mould (?) stains on the lower bed sheet. The parking is not very close, so in case of heavy luggage is better to unload the car at the hotel first. The shower box is not closed, so some water spills on the floor

The hotel is very close to the cathedral. The room had a good size, as well as the bathroom. We appreciated the electric water kettle and the coffee machine. Very safe parking. Very good wi-fi. Kind staff

I would have expected bathrobes in a deluxe room and the bath towels could have been bigger and fluffier. There wasn't much hanging space and only 4 hangers. Not much room left by the time we'd hung up our coats. Some additional coat hooks would have been useful.

    Really comfortable bed!

While the beds were comfortable, there was an audible noise from a water pipe which made sleeping difficult. Fittings such as a power outlet as well as the soap and the toilet paper holder were fixed shoddily and almost broke out of the bathroom wall.

The court hotel has a very distinct and beautiful style. Everything looks clean and high-end. Breakfast was amazing but quite expensive.

Slamming doors, gets very noisy in the morning, I used earplugs to sleep, stair from a bathroom is a dangerous one especially at night, the shower has no doors so it gets wet everywhere in the bathroom, king size bed in fact consists of two mattresses (inconvenient)

Location is the best, the room is spacious, kettle in room, the mattress is very comfy, breakfast is good though a little bit overpriced.

I wish there was a better breakfast on offer, besides just fruit and pastries, for a cheaper price (€13.50 is a bit expensive for that IMO). The main issue I had with the hotel was the noisy neighbours that lived next to the hotel. With the nice weather they had parties outside in the back garden (visible from my hotel window) and it was difficult to get to sleep with the loud music and voices late at night.

Overall the hotel was lovely. The room was big and had modern amenities. Loved the toiletries that came with the room. Staff were lovely and the location was excellent. Very close to shops, restaurants and the university (which I was there for). Only a 20 min walk to the train station. Free Wi-Fi was also great.

The cleanliness of the room was not brilliant. It wasn't dirty but could have been a lot better. Breakfast was very expensive so we didn't bother.

The location of the hotel is excellent for walking around the canal area and visiting the Dom Tower and Church. Parking in Utrecht is a nightmare and very expensive so paying the 25 Euros per night for secure parking 5 minutes walk away is recommended. NB: Top Tip = Park first and walk to the hotel.

Great interior design and the food in the restaurant downstairs was great. Only comment would be that the room was a bit small in comparison to the bathroom, but the actual design was fantastic. Great location. Parking is charged extra and a bit of a walk.

Therefore other staff members welcomed us most friendly, we got a drink and as soon as the employee came back he checked us in. I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the quality of the decor and the comfort of the room, especially given the great location and price, which I consider to be great value for money, especially when sharing a room. I was staying in Utrecht for the all-night party A State of Trance, so unfortunately only got two hours' sleep in the ridiculously comfortable bed... Next time I stay there, I plan on having a long lie-in! Very friendly and helpful staff as well.

    - The breakfast is far from being the best, but it is quite good for its price. Though I would really recommend to choose one of many places around the centre for breakfast rather than the hotel one - The room's windows go right on the street, and it was very noisy to sleep or just to have rest - They have a luggage trolley but I was not offered to move my luggage to the room - The hotel has its own parking, which is located quite far from the hotel itself (5+ mins walking), which is not very handy but there is very little space for parking in the city overall

    - A very nice and cosy hotel in the heart of Utrecht, which is amazing for travellers, who love walking and seeing things - The room was very good including modern interior design, very comfortable large bed and a nice bathroom - There is an elevator and the hotel corridors are quite convenient luggage-wise

    1) Poor choice of TV channels 2) There were no lounge with chairs, nor even a locked luggage room! Our belongings were just placed on a luggage cart in a small hall near the reception. When we returned back, no one even cheked if we took our own luggage. Anyone could take it. 3) Very old furniture on floor, scuffed doors. 4) Strange disgustful smell near the reception and the restaurant in the evening. That's wy we didn't have any dinner there. 5) Still can't understand why some hotels prefer to make glass windows in a bathroom overlooking the bedroom. If someone goes to the bathroom at night, the bright light literally strikes the eye of a sleeping partner. 6) Very loud noise from the street. Closed windows didn't help at all

    1) The room was spacious with wide windows. There was a Jim Morrisson's portrait on the wall - very nice. 2) Breakfast was good. Not excellent but good. 3) Location in the city center.

Driving from the hotel to the private under-cover parking that's meant to be closest to the hotel, is a nightmare to drive to from the hotel. The distance is not far but you're forced to make a number of time consuming detours due to road works & road restrictions designed to keep cars out of the city. 3pm check-in, in combination with no luggage storage room - if you arrive earlier in the day, you're stuck with your luggage unless you get lucky with a room being ready. No designated luggage drop-off standing area for those coming by car. No kettle or tea/coffee facility in the room.

The quality of service from staff is excellent. In the evening my toddler had an accident & the quilt cover needed to be changed. Rang reception & it was done in a few min. That wasn't the only case of above average service from staff during our stay. Buffet breakfast costs extra but it's reasonably priced & good. Check out is not till 12 noon.

The staff were extremely helpful for the duration of our stay. They even printed out train timetables for us when we were leaving. They really went the extra mile and it really shows and we really appreciated it. As for location it was great a stones throw from Domkerk tower. This made it very easy to navigate to and from the hotel as you can use the tower as a marker. The cafes and shops surrounding the hotel are beautiful also and the city centre is just 2 mins away on a bike. You can hire bikes from reception too which is very handy. I found my street-side room to be noisy and the mattresses somewhat uncomfortable. There was a heady aroma of drain from the bathroom when i arrived. My unfortunate experience was likely compounded by the warm sunny weather and hay-fever that seemed to hit heavily. Opening the windows to air the room exacerbated the hay fever. I remembered the hotel to be better in the past, but maybe I'm less robust nowadays.

Wifi quality was not good in our room, most of the time it was hard to get a signal, but in other parts of the hotel it was working good. Only at lunch time, the smell of the food from the restaurant was coming to our room. In the room, the isolation of the windows are a little weak and cold can come through them, but the curtains are thick and they also help isolating.

We really liked this Hotel! The staff were polite and helpful. There were complimentary Christmas chocolates and a card, which was a nice welcome. Cleaning service was really good, housekeepers were nice people. Rituals toiletries were super, the bathroom was like a small spa. Beds were nice and especially the duvet was so comfortable and soft. We really liked the design of the room with high windows and the curtains. There is a restaurant and a bar at the entrance of the hotel, which are nice and cozy if you want to hangout inside the hotel (also we have found the funniest postcards at the lobby, which was entertaining). It is very close to the main train station and super close to the central historical parts of the city, actually it's inside those parts. Overall, it was a good experience for us.

After searching for some time, I returned to reception, where the receptionist rather casually informed me that it had a new door, and therefore no number and no key card entry. If you come by car be aware this is really in the center so the driving and parking is challenging (but we made it!)

Very nice hotel and the location is just perfect, so close to the center. Very nice and comfortable rooms. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

Stains on carpet. Quite a noisey location but it is very central so you expect some noise. Hotel lounge is a bar/ restaurant and it didn't seem like you could just sit there unless you buy drinks or food. Shower gel was not re stocked. No kettle.

Great location in Utrecht centre. Comfortable big bed. Good wifi and Air conditioning.
