For a solo cyclist, a convenient and comfortable way-station between Nijmegen and Liège.

There was nothing I didn't like. My one quibble -- but this would not apply generally -- is that for cyclists a large breakfast is desirable. The breakfast at Hotel De Beukelaer was certainly adequate, but could have been more substantial for my needs.

As an older adult on a solo bike trip, Hotel De Beukelaer was a great place to stay. The room was spartan, but clean, functional, and certainly adequate for my needs. The private bathroom was good. I had an excellent dinner on the premises; this costs extra, of course, but is reasonable and the food is good and plentiful.

The room was huge. Super clean and comfortable. The owners are delightful-friendly, willing to go extra mile for their guests. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Breakfast was tasty and in generous portions.

Breakfast was OK though there could be more to choose from, Restaurant serves very good lunch/dinners. Rooms clean but could use renovating. Comfortable beds. Good, fast WI-FI. Good location, nice and quiet town, shops and other restaurants near the hotel.

The weather. I would have loved to walk around a little. But otherwise nothing negative i can think of.

Friendly, good food, great location, comfortable bed, nice village, whats not to like.

I personally found the bed comfy to sleep in, a nicely laid out room that maximises space and storage.

Small hotel in a small village, but super friendly owners and a "more than an average person can eat"-breakfast.

The only downside was the church next to it as the bells go off every hour.

The restaurant is superb, we had a wonderful meal cooked to perfection, presentation was perfect and the staff were lovely. The restaurant is 10 out of 10. The room was comfortable and parking was easy. There is a supermarket 2 minutes around the corner if you need anything. Quiet and pretty village.

    Nothing worth mentioning.

Personalized service for an excellent breakfast. Easy parking. Perfect WiFi. Cozy rooms under the roof where you can hear the rain trickle (happens a lot in the Netherlands.....)

Location in centre of Roggel was useful.

It is not made clear that the hotel is situated next to a church whose bells ring out the hour, on the hour, every hour. So being awoken every hour through the night is not helpful when you have to be up early for work.

Location in centre of Roggel was useful.
