Bedankt a bit soft. Bathrooms have no shelve or space for toiletries. Rooms get very hot when the sun is out. No a/c

Comfortable rooms. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Nice setting and location

For the price, we were expecting to have at least coffee or tea amenities in the room.

The staff were very polite and help in everything we needed within their possibilities. The dinner in the restaurant exceeded our expectations

A minor remark, the mattress was too soft

The location is really quiet, close to the seaside and to the village (both at less than 10 mins by bike) The room was super comfortable (we had a room improvement, we got the comfortable room even if we booked the standard, at the same price) and also very clean. The receptionists were very kind

The surounding area is extreamly nice and very good for getting around by bike due to its central location on the island and the very well built pure cycle parths around the island some starting at the back door of this hotel.

See above. And sauna shuts at ten so that I could not make full use of it after dinner.

Breakfast was simple, but Okay. Coffee and tea could be better. Second night’s dinner was less in quantity, probably because they had not bought in enough. And the difference between a la carte and menu is ridiculious, we had to have the invoice altered as a la carte prices were on it, this took quite some time. The food itself is fair value for money.

If you go to this hotel, I would recommend to go by car or either hire a bike. Restaurants and the beach are a little further away.

The standard rooms are pretty simple, but come with all the needs. Excellent bathroom with large tub and shower. Great breakfast. The hotel is close to De Koog (approx. 10 min by bicycle), but in a nice and quiet area.

The 'standard' room is well below standard. 84 euro for an old, very worn, small room with stained carpets, bugs and spiders in the curtains, an outdated bathroom and an extremely uncomfortable bed (very soft, but not in a good way). The breakfast was average and we had to park on the grass across the road because there were no spaces left.

The only high point at this hotel is the coffee.

The closest shop was 1.8km away but we also it was super close to the beach and the Ecomare museum and sanctuary which is a must see

All in all, it was great, staff, cleanliness, comfort and size of the room, also our room view was very nice on a wide landscape

The standard rooms on the ground floor are old and crumpy. Value for money not very good unless they are renovated

The superior rooms were quite spacious. The breakfast was good and served in a spacious dining room. Bikes are available on site to be rented at the same rate as in town.

One evening I asked hotel staff for two glasses of hot water. To my greatest surprised, when I looked at my bill after check-out, I found out that those two glasses were invoiced as tea (2 euros each)! I was dumbfounded!

The hotel is nicely located and in general offers quite good quality/price ratio. The restaurant on site closes very early, so expect to travel to the nearest city. The breakfast is average.

Unfortunately during our stay there was a party in the bar & although we were told that we would be able to enjoy a drink in the other bar that was already shut by 9.45pm. Also due to the party it became very noisy as the guests were leaving.

The staff were friendly & very helpful. Location perfect. Very spacious & clean room.

100€ for a small room in the basement with very small windows, dirty carpet, uncomfortable beds (horrible pillows!). And SO NOISY. We could hear the bathroom of rooms around as if they were in our room!! Very noisy fan in the bathroom on for 1hr. Staff not very friendly either. Just not worth the money at all...

Breakfast was good and the location is great.

In such a nice and rather big hotel the rooms must be on a reasonable level...that is what we thought...We used the hot offer re EUR 85,- double room ...it was such a hot sunny weathere...the room smelt bad, impossible to stay in during the morning or afternoon due to absence of climatisation, moreover the windows could be opened by some 15 cm only. Never again.

Nice location, several building offering hotel rooms and appartements, well organized , wide breakfast menu,

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night which was very startling. Went downstairs and was told it was a false alarm but didn't ever really receive an apology or acknowledgement of the inconvinience. Room smelled like dog and was waay too hot. Couldn't control the tempeture unfortunately and the plug in fan they left in the room didn't help much. Hall and lobby area felt about 10 degrees (f) cooler than the room itself. Dinner was only served from 6pm-7pm which is hard since the area is pretty remote/not a lot of options without a car/bike

Nice lobby and reception. Bar was nice and bartender seemed cool.

The bathroom is oldish. A broken lamp in the room was not replaced. Some of the staff were rather uncouth at checkout, pushing their way into our room unsolicited. And coffee and tea should be courtesy, IMHO.

A well-equipped, quiet and reasonably modern hotel at a stone's throw from the dunes and close to Texel's visitor center-annex-seal-nursery Ecomare. Hotel rooms are big enough and well-heated. Breakfast is copious and self-served in a pleasant café-like hall.

Too hot, window would not stay open, had to prop it, no fans. Had a fan the first night, but changed rooms because we wanted to stay longer, was very hot on 3rd floor, no fan in room. Breakfast should be available earlier than 8 am we had a 9 am appointment for a tour and felt rushed. Reception and downstairs entrances were closed til 8 am, so I had to bring suitcase up again to go to different exit. Inconvenient.
