Loved the classy retro decor and architecture. Location superb. Rooms has dual aspect so was light and spacious. Wee town and cafes only a few minutes walk away.

Bathroom too small and smell from the sanitary. Although the rooms have been partially renovated, they are not modern. Comfortable bed. The staircase and the surroundings should also be renovated.

quiet location close to the beach.

It's a nice place, but abandoned off season at times. I arrived late, so had to let myself in. The room was fine, but I had to forage for food in the local town - I eventually discovered the local kebab shop

it would be great if the hotel also had food service in the evening; but plenty of good restaurants exist nearby to make up for it.

staff is friendly enough; accommodations are clean and well maintained, even if it is in retro style; breakfast if pretty good and the eggs are great!

Some of the furniture is cheap and outdated, no elevators. Breakfast could start a bit earlier than 08.30

The sea side view is great, room was very spacious, in fact an appartment.

    We liked everything.

It was all wonderful! What on earth is wrong with some of the other reviewers? This is a very special place right by the sea and sand dunes looking towards Vlissingen. The walks are lovely, the ferry is on your doorstep and the Baz Pavilion seafood restaurant is just a step away. The building is architect designed and furnished with great care. The sea facing apartments are spacious, light and fantastic. Oh yes and the breakfast and service was amazing. We will go there again!

Missing out on evening meal as we didn't pick up on the fact that a table had to be pre-booked, which was difficult when using hotel as a transit stopover

Great location with balcony each end of the apartment ( One end overlooking the sea) , Kitchen facilities, comfort & garaging if asked for

As other reviewers mentioned, a kettle plus some coffee and tea bags would have been a nice extra.

Vintage design. Cleanliness. Superb sea views from suites with floor to ceiling plate glass windows and balconies/terraces at each end of appartments. Close proximity to ferry to Vlissingen. Convenient position directly on beach and cycle paths into Breskens. Quiet location but walking distance to Breskens. Perfect place to take a comfortable and peaceful seaside break.

No elevator. For me with MS was it very difficult to go the the third floor. Should have been mentioned before. It never occured to us that a hotel, in this price range, woiuldn`t have a lift.

Our mistake was that we did not check the hotel's website. The big surprise was at dinner: we arrived with 2 hungry children and we were simply told we would not be able to have dinner, because we have not booked the dinner in advance. I would have expected an offer of a yogurt or something for the kids. Once we were back in the room and I rang to complain we were offered a yogurt and fruit salad for our baby and someone brought it to our room.

We loved our room with three balconies and the interior decoration.

It was low season and the hotel seemed relatively empty and yet the reception was phoning us already at 10 minutes past the check out time of 11am (we were in the process of leaving the room).

Comfortable with authentic original features. The staff were attentive. Sea view and jacuzzi bath made it a relaxing stay. It's a short walk into the centre of Breskens where there are several restaurants and very close to the Vlissingen ferry.

Quite noisy, very basic rooms for the price asked, no waterboiler for tea, no airconditioning, style and luxury suggested but not really present, except for the cleanliness and quality breakfast.

Friendliness of staff, easy access to beach and surroundings, great breakfast bar, spacious rooms, location is wonderful for views (of the sea, Vlissingen, etc.) in any direction: your port to hospitality and the sights of Zeeland & Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.

I booked for 4 people through booking.com and 2 rooms have been proposed by the system : a standard room and a junior suite. It appears that the junior suite can accomodate 4 people but I did not know it. As a matter of fact, I had to pay for 2 rooms instead of 1 !

Comfort, sea view, size of rooms, style of the hotel.
