The airconditioner in our room was set to a cooling setting but only blew out warmish air. It did not dehumidify either so it was a bit warm in the room overnight unless we kept the window open

The services are terrible: there was nobody in the check in desk, the restaurant were closed after 9 pm, we couldn't eat anything, even a sandwich in the bar. The minibar was totally empty and we were waiting for about 15 minutes for two beers in the bar. This is unacceptable from a 4stars hotel!

    Beautiful location and nice furniture.

One of the top four places that we have stayed in our 6 week tour of Europe. Good facilities including the pools and the grounds generally as well as the quiet surrounding countryside. The room was large and comfotable with good bathroom facilities. Aldo a nice balcony.

Compared to Germany it seems that Dutch hotels are very barren, never something extra on the room such as a bottle of water. And in this case quite shabby furniture and carpet.

Not such a great breakfast lacking a toaster and condiments and sauces (why serving an English breakfast without them?) Poor bread too, and in an upcoming vegetarian world too little veggies.

Restaurant staff wasn’t friendly, it took an hour for our tomato soup and everything seemed to be too much of an effort. Very disappointing as the rest of the stay was great. Next time I would try to find a restaurant close by.

Beds are super comfortable, nice relaxing location with lovely walks.

the air was a bit dusty. does the ventilation system need some cleaning? breakfast was okay. orange juice at breakfast was too sweet and really poor. fruit salad was also too sweet and not completely fresh - apart from the apple parts. in a four star i would expect a coffeemaking facility in the room. but no, there is not.

classic interior. stylish like the old cruisships. nice spacious room, fine beds and good shower. nice park and big parking in front. great view from the room and nice balcony. friendly staff. fast wifi. beautiful environment

Hotel has lost its old glory, up for a complete overhaul. The non smoking room was smoked in. Noisy rooms, thin walls. Carpets are totally worn out making the place look dirty and old. Apéritif from the house was on the invoice. No clean coffee cups during breakfast, was told to use glass tea cups instead. No cappuccino, only black coffee. Staff doe snot care about service, so poorly managed. Invoice was paid, but hotel subtracted additional amount from creditcard day later.

nice area free parking fairly fast internet

The room Is very dated with filthy chairs (apparently a renovation is due). Two single beds pushed together, not very romantic and no double beds available in standard rooms, only in suites. The bathroom is in my opinion dangerous, with a very high bathtub and a slippery floor, so accidents will happen getting in and out of the shower. Two small, thin towels and no shower cap. The restaurant is understaffed, unprofessional staff and extremely expensive for the quality of the food. Breakfast is ok.

The location of the hotel is beautiful and the lady at the reception very kind and helpful. We were able to hire bicycles at the hotel, location is super for cycling. It was my birthday and at the breakfast I was surprised with a glass of bubbly and a small cake, very kind!

The dining experience was a big flop. Menu choices were limited, the portions were small, both mine and my partners meal was cold and worse of all the service was excruciatingly slow. We had to wait a hour after ordering for the meal to arrive. Fortunately there are good restaurants in the village which are better and cheaper.

Very comfortable and spacious room with a balcony. Terrific indoor swimming pool. Sauna suite with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and ice bath. Not for the feint hearted as you have to go naked. Comprehensive breakfast and great coffee.

The service could have been much better. Some of the personell was nice, but mostly they ignore the guest or was not very polite. The Hotel starts our stay with taking a handling fee. It was 12 Euro and nothing I was aware of in advance. This hotel looks like a 4 stars hotel but act like a 2 star.

It is big rooms with nice beds.

The hotel was understaffed and the rooms are out dated. The service was not very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and mostly trainees were working at the front desk with no support from a manager.

the location is very secluded and peaceful. Also, they have a lot of activities to choose from at the hotel from bowling, mini golf, bike rentals, etc.. Also the pool and the spa was nice.

We waited over an hour at the restaurant and only got a drink and the menu. This due to the lack of personell. I understand, but this was a bummer... And we weren't the other only one. The fact that the alarm went off twice at night without any reason, didn't add up to a satisfying stay. Too bad for those things, cause else I would have definitely come back. Now, I'm not sure.

The location is just great. The staff tried their best. Our room was nice and tidy, everything clean. The beds were great.

The rooms have a old smell. The beds very small. The rooms needs a makeover. Then the restaurant it's certainly not 4 stars. You had ribaye so small that the cook didn't know hown to make it sent it back and it came wrong back. The rest of the food you have to spice it up to taste. So don't have high expectations of the restaurant. and breakfast had twice bread with mold. And of course I told them.

The badroom was great with good deep badtube.
