Breakfast was below average for even a 3 star hotel. Lunch menu was very limited. No telephone or fridge in the room. I don't like paper cups instead of proper glasses and cups. For what was provided it was very expensive.

The bathroom was dirty, especially the shower and the pillow on the single bed was covered in hairs.

Still waiting for a copy of the bill since I paid for these guests as a present. Huizen does not have a rail connection so you really need a car to get to this location.

good facilities, friendly welcome, good breakfast. Huizen is a wonderful fishing village with a rich history in both fishing but also in broadcasting. Much better value than Amsterdam, while being near enough for a quick car or train journey.

However, there were some drawbacks to our stay. The informational sheet provided upon check-in was in Dutch, which wasn't particularly helpful for a tourist like myself. The room, although adequately sized with nice windows, faced the parking lot instead of the picturesque harbour, which was disappointing. Additionally, the provision of only four coffee pods in a room meant for three people seemed insufficient. The beds were moderately comfortable, but the glass bathroom door, while opaque, didn't provide complete privacy. Furthermore, the single bed near the window was uncomfortably cold throughout the night, leading to discomfort and necessitating extra layers.

The location of Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Nautisch Kwartier was delightful, nestled next to a charming harbour, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The availability of a spacious parking area, shared by the neighbouring businesses, was convenient. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the efficient receptionists.

If the room had a little fridge, that would have been great. A little light in the corner where the big mirror is situated would be my advice. And a little place to put your showergel/shampoo in the shower would be easier for people who have issues with their back/knees.

Bike hire was a little expensive, there could offer a discount for people staying at the hotel. The breakfast was european, with cold meats and stuff, but for Australians it wasn't what we normally eat and so didn't really enjoy it. Only ate there once for breakfast.

We had a room with balcony, which was fantastic, unfortuately it rained a bit while we were there, didn't get to enjoy it much, but would definately recommend it. It was in a lovely location next to the water with some great walking tracks near by. Nothing is too far in Huizen, we walked everywhere. The Restaurants were great, quite a few to choose from with a variety of food and drinks.

Just a general note for Fletcher; in every Fletcher hotel somewhat the same menu (thumbs down). Fletcher often has 'flat screen TV' advertised but often without Netflix or other streaming option. The suite that we got upgraded to had 3 old flat screen TVs with an old remote. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Very nice and cozy village-feel location at the water, restaurants all around, cozy market 'downtown'. We got an upgrade for one night to a suite as the room we booked wasn't available upon arrival, that was great! Thank you Fletcher.
