Rooms of the hotel are somewhat outdated. We recall the appartement being excellent and renovated from a previous stay.

could be a bit noisy. also no elevator, if you have trouble walking up, you might need to book at ground floor.

Location is excellent, really close to the ferry station and all cafes, bike rentals. the backyard of the hotel was also really cosy, with access to the sea. pets are allowed

Staff were vacuuming during check-in. It is a bit tired: the paint needs to be touched up here and there and other facilities updated to bring it to the next level.

The room was airy and bright - but did have a heavy musty smell of damp dog or damp cat! We had to open the window to air the room. The bathroom was fine - but the shower cubicle could do with a revamp, aged and not in best shape (peeling ceiling paint, rusty shower pole). Even though the website shows Rituals shower provisions, it's standard hotel stuff. The dog biscuits were a nice touch. A kettle in the room would be a nice gesture (though there is a coffee machine downstairs). The stair case is very steep, carpets need replacing. the doors to the bedrooms could do with a make over too (damaged, old brown doors).

The rooms were pretty clean, but they did not look clean. It’s also not very soundproof. We heard others clearly and the quality of your sleep really depends on how loud or silent the other guests decide to be.

The people were really kind, the breakfast was good. The place had a nice vibe and the location is great.

It’s a nice place, in the heart of the village, with a great view. Staff is so nice. The facilities are adequate, nothing special, but ok for us. We love to come back to this hotel.

We had a standard room with a double bed with 2 single mattresses. They are, to be honest, very uncomfortable. They are both sagged for a large area. I am normally an easy sleeper and I hardly ever rated negatively for hotel beds. But this time I really find it very uncomfortable… Overall cleanliness is good and the presentation of the room is nice; but details seem to be overlooked. For example in the toilet sink - the area around the stopper is quite dirty (I noticed because I wanted to soak my child’s clothes before handwashing them, and hesitated). The radiator in the bathroom is dusty (again, I noticed it because I wanted to hang the washed clothes). Finally, the shower head is partially broken with sharp edges.

Excellent location; room with sea view was a pleasant surprise; baby cot was prepared with care; good breakfast and friendly staff.

The hotel room wasn't comfortable and cozy, so we rather spend time outdoors. Price and hotel facilities weren't matching.
