How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Some of the other people staying at the hotel. Made me feel unsafe.
The location and the breakfast. The staff at the reception were also very kind.

You could not open the windows so I missed a bit of fresh air. Noise from other rooms was OK but not excellent. The room key was via your phone, which for me personally was not great, but I can see that some people might like this.

Receptionists didnt really care about guests, they didnt even look at us untill we walked to the desk and started talking. Even during check-in they were talking to each other. Also the check-in is unnecesarily long and conplicated.
We enjoyed amazing view from the panoramic window and loved kingsize bedsheet instead of 2 singles. Coffee machine was a nice bonus. Bathtub was small but comfy. Overall the room was pleasant.

Everything was good!
Room was great on the 2nd floor, code to enter the room was very good, the view from the window, streetside was excellent. The beds slept very well!

Quite small rooms with "tired" interiors, like cracked or burned (I guess from cigarettes) tiles in the bathroom, dirty, almost black in places carpets on the floor and windows without an option to open it. Only A/C. Terrible communications, as I get info where to park and how to check-in on the day of my checkout. I ended up waking with my luggage nearly 15min in rain just to be able to park anywhere. Spent extra 22eur for 2xday parking spot close to train station. There is very little chance for someone visiting hotel for the first time to find parking what belongs to the hotel. No info, at least I did not get it on time. Breakfast was simple with quite limited options to be honest. Nothing special here really. I would say 4/10. Room where I had my accommodation was close to the lifts and other electrical equipments stored somewhere close, as I was clearly be able to heard all the clicking and other "system" noises coming from it for most of the time. Would I come back? Rather not. Would I recommend? Maybe for people travelling without own car.

There is no iron available in the room; ironing services are only provided for a fee.
The staff was excellent and incredibly kind. I arrived quite early, and while they were preparing the room, they graciously allowed me to wait in the lobby and enjoy complimentary coffee as much as I wanted. The location was perfect, very close to the train station and other main attractions. The bed was perfect, and I slept very well in a very quiet room.

The bed/matress was too soft and irregular in stiffness. The pillows also didn't help.

Nothing major to dislike.
Very central location, close to Eindhoven Centraal and bus station (both about 5 minute walk), where you can get airport bus (about 20 minutes to airport). Suite was spacious and bed extremely comfy. Very much in the heart of the city and close to numerous bars and restaurants. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast.

One can clearly hear the shower and running water in other rooms, the tiles in the bathroom are really outdated.

The hotel is kept very well. There is nothing to complain.
