The problem was the hot weather and the fact that there was no air-conditioning, and the breakfast was too expensive for what we got!

The beds were very comfortable and big, the rooms were big, and we liked the old and antique style of the hotel.

I just didn’t like staying in a 2-floors room. If you don’t have any physical problem, it is ok. Otherwise, to go to the bed you need to climb the stairs =)

I eat a very tiny breakfast, just yogurt, muesli and tea. To pay €17.50 (fixed price) for that I would think to be too expensive. So I had to provide elsewhere for my breakfast.

Very well located if you need to be at the Technical University Twente. Easily reached with public transport. A large room, where the bed was separated from the living room by (inside) stairs. Staff very friendly and helpful. If I need to be at the university again I would certainly come back here.

It was just unfortunate that a few things in our room didn’t work but the staff were very helpful and put things right very quickly. On the whole clean and comfortable but felt that some of the furnishings had seen better days and could do with renovating (some mould in the shower and fridge for example). Parts of the hotel have been renovated more recently such as the toilets on the ground floor. Nothing really wrong with the hotel but it wasn‘t really what we were expecting.

Good location, quiet, outside the city but free parking directly in front of the hotel and the bus is just over the road so it’s quick and easy to get into the city. Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Did not try out the brasserie as it was empty when we were there so we chose to eat out in town where we found a plethora of restaurants and a buzzy atmosphere. Could imagine it would be nice to sit outside for a drink/meal in the summer months.

The room had two floors and small balcony, so I felt myself as being in apartments. The bathroom has both: big bath and shower cabin. To relax in the bath was perfect after long trip with train. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. There are plenty buses near the hotel, that bring you to the central train station (will take around 15 minutes).

The wardrobe is up the stairs, and I didn't really feel like dragging a suitcase up the stairs, maybe not lots of people want that. The living room area, if it was a couch, would be so much more special. Missing a small make-up mirror. (Just small details, not bad, just making it more special.)

For the price wasn't expecting such luxury. The bathroom is huge, with 2 sinks, a bathtub and shower. The beds are huge and really confortable. All amenities that you only find in top star hotels. The place was like I never saw before, 2 floors! Only stopped for a quick night in the middle of a road trip, but definitely want to come back.

The hotel has private parking, friendly reception staff and an onsite bistro. Our clean room was split-level, spacious and airy. Traffic was audible but not intrusive. We dined at the bistro and service was helpful and efficient; the food very good. Breakfast had a good choice and the breakfast room too is spacious. This is a little gem of a hotel. This was the first time we'd visited Enschede as an alternative to e.g Amsterdam en route to the Hook of Holland ferry and looking for hotels found Hampshire Hotel – De Broeierd. We'd happily stop here again, recommended. (We didn't go into Enschede town.)

the ground floor is a "living room" with a sitting area and a TV. However there was only a single sofa chair and a desk chair. The room was very big and a small sofa should have been there. For 2 people sitting on chairs was quite strange. There not much around to get food, as this is located next to the campus.

The rooms are very interesting. Beautiful view of the sky from the windows. It's a two story room with bedroom upstairs. There are two TVs. A bathtub and a shower. Friendly stuff. You can walk there from Enschede Kennispark Station. Next to University of Twente. Nothing else to do around.
