This hotel caters more for self-catering guests and may disappoint those, like us, who were expecting more of a "hotel" experience. Having stayed in a Hampshire Hotel in another part of Holland in 2016 we were expecting the same level of service - this was sadly lacking here at the Auberge de Hilver. The Reception staff were unfriendly both on arrival and departure - giving the impression they were just doing their job. The bathroom in what was supposed to be a Deluxe room was very dark with smoky mirrors and poor lighting. This hotel was one of the more expensive that we stayed in during our Holland visit and was definitely not value for money !! Very disappointing !!!!

The room was large and in keeping with this chain of hotels in Holland. Nice to be able to sit outside on our own terrace with our drinks as the weather was superb during our overnight stay. The young male waiters were very helpful throughout Dinner/Breakfast and offered a first class service to the guests.

It was a bit hard to find. The address mentions the Westelbeersedijk, while the entrance is at the Krampvenseweg 2, Diessen. At the Krampvenseweg there was no sign mentioning "Auberge de Hilver". Take the entry and go to the reception of the "Landal" park.

Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room and bathroom have ample space.

Didn't read immediate the info provided and would have liked some bottled water ( was available on request but we read the info late) Hot water kettle available in the room but no tea or instant coffee (I normally have tea bags with me but not this time as it was a short overnight stay to visit friends that live nearby)

Quiet, clean and great double bed room on ground floor with a very nice bathroom and outside terrace

Restaurant manager could have been more attentive, however food quality made up for this.

Fantastic size room, very clean absolutely nothing to complain about room wise, would stay again.

Need a car to reach this location.

Everything is good at this place, known since years (welcome, food, pricing, equipment, proximity of nature, silence, free WiFi, free car park).

Breakfast offer could be extended with more food.

Location in quiet area, free car park, vast room, free WiFi, restaurant with food at affordable price.Countryside allows walks or cycling.

Hard to find, the carpark and reception are not well lighted and the entrance is not where the GPS drops you. Suggest to post coordinates on the website to allow for better navigation. Dinner service rather slow on the first night. Restaurant is OK but not top quality

Size of the room, facilities bathroom, value for money. Breakfast was included and reasonably good
