The same central location means it can be a bit noisy, esp when the bars let out about 3am. The mattress slides easily off the bed, annoying but not uncomfortable once you are actually asleep.

The room was very well kept, economical but very clean. The hotel couldn't be more centrally located.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is brilliantly located in the middle of the market square on Zwolle island. This does make it quite noisy and although they do supply foam earplugs I would recommend you bring silicone earplugs which are kinder to your ears (and better!)

There was no elevator, for my 81 year old mother quite a challenge. The room was very small, with your own partner that is not a problem, but with my mom it was too small. There are bigger rooms, so make sure you take the bigger one. We will do that next time. There is no lobby, so the only place you can sit, apart from your room is the breakfast room. That is okay, but not ideal. Downstairs there is a Spanish restaurant. It is a nice place but not a place like a lobby.

Pleasant hotel in the city centre, with lots of restaurants very nearby. Extremely friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Very comfortable beds! Better than my own bed!!!

When a hotel has earplugs on your desk in the hotelroom, you know it's going to be loud. Lack of cleanliness may be an issue for some. If you want a night on the town it's an excellent choice. If you need to be rested for the next day; go somewhere else, because it really does get loud.

The staff of the reception office was very heplful and friendly. The facilities in the room are very convenient. The location in the centre of the city, in the neighborhood of many restaurants, is suitable for people who like eating out. If anybody likes old hotels the Hanza Hotel should satify him/her - it was built in the XIV century. The stairs in the hotel are really challenging, in particular they can be difficult to climb for older guests. There is no lift in the hotel.

A little noisy mostly due to our room (#25) being near a very busy staff room. The door is quite loud, closing harshly, and often. Also very cool in the evening, no heat on, likely due to changing spring weather.

The trade off of the great location is that it is very noisy! We were overlooking the square and people drinking in the bar below were shouting and singing until 1:00am (on a Sunday). It didn't bother us greatly as we were up that late anyway, but I could see how it could be annoying if you were very tired or if it was a weekend and the revelry went on later.

The location is right in the center of Zwolle. We arrived on a Sunday and was able to park in the lot next to the hotel for free (after we watched and saw someone leaving and ran to get the car). We couldn't pay the meter the next morning as our American credit cards wouldn't work - so we just left a little earlier the next day. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice. We ate dinner in the restaurant below and it was very enjoyable, and the two free drink tickets were appreciated.
