Room was in the basement but has a window and was generally OK. Breakfast choice could get a bit sparse if you didn't get there early.

Shower was super powerful. Breakfast generally decent. Staff friendly. Close to town centre for places to eat. Bicycle hire was organised by reception. Lift is a thing of wonder.

Other times reception desk unmanned and notably when there they didn't readily smile or greet you. Every morning around 4am -5am a coach arrived to collect a lot of people from the hotel and the noise of them talking and not shutting doors quietly and the coach engine woke us up.

Size of room. Hotel clean. 1 receptionist helpful one morning allowing us to stay in room and not have to move due to another booking. 1 male receptionist one evening greeted us nicely.

JAN the evening receptionist, rude and unable to deliver basic dialogue regarding an issue. Wi-Fi could not reach my room, useless given we were their 5 nights and had kids. 2 power failures in one night!!!! No bad weather.... makes you wonder what it was.

The bathroom was horrific, the beds were so sunk in it was almost impossible to sleep. Head board was not fastened and constantly made a noise. For a young family of 5 it was virtually impossible to do just basic tasks.

The bedroom was filthy the muck and dust behind the headboard in room 40 was disgusting, there was only 1 bulb in the main room and the bathroom working (not great) out of 5 bulbs the blinds did not work at all (2no windows), we had to ask for a hair dryer from reception as the room did not have one (it was advertised to have one) the whole room could do with a full refurbishment. The heating did not not work so it was cold on an nighttime i reported it to reception but it did not get fixed.

The only thing was the breakfast it was standard farye but it was nice. We paid extra for brekfast on our arrival.

No problems with the hotel and the town though not large fine for a short stay. A number of decent restaurants including an American Diner and on the Arnhem road a big pancake restaurant.

The principal reason we stayed in Ede ((Ed-a-who knew?) was because hotels in Arnhem can be pricey especially when there is an event on. If you want to go the the Airborne sites or the Burger Zoo this town is just as good because they are in this direction.Hotel fine for comfort at a good price.Nice staff. Ok parking.Easy in and out.Right on the centre.

We have stayed at this hotel several times for convenience as it is close to family. Half of this hotel has now been given over to rooms for polish people who stroll in through the main entrance. Im not fussy, but the hotel and rooms are very outdated: old sticky carpet, tiles, furniture and bathroom. Wear and tear everywhere!
