The twin bed matrasses are probably the smallest normal size; after separating the beds, one of us, unfortunately, fell during the night. Also in one of the rooms the cap for the bathtub did not hold, and water could not be filled.

The rooms were nice and cozy, and the staff was able to fix into a real double bed (2 mattresses) instead of one bed with big mattress. Breakfast was very nice, and even when the pool was not functional, the sauna and steam room were nice.

The lighting was quite dim in the main room, which made it difficult to see at night. The television was awkwardly positioned at the foot of the bed. You could swivel it around, but it was still awkward. A better room service selection would also be nice. Creamer and sugar would have been nice to have for morning coffee in the room.

The bathtub was phenomenal, and the bed was very comfortable. The sound of the water outside made it easy to fall asleep.

- the wellness/ pool area: although it stated that the pool is heated- it was very cold. We we t in but left again very quickly - the elevator on the right kept sticking on the second floor and wouldn’t close

- staff were friendly - the room was a bit bare and basic - we had a bath and a shower- which was great - the tv could swivel and turn- so you weren’t facing it while sleeping - safe and fridge in the room - nice breakfast - good location- close to the trainstation- 2 stops into Amsterdam - parking garage hermitage is close by if you have a car - the iron and ironing board was centrally located to use and return - close to Zaanse schsns - many options for restaurants and a bit of shopping close by

This hotel makes you happy just looking at it...so staying here for two nights was really great! Nice, spacious clean rooms. Friendly bar. Didn't try the pool, which we regret...it would have been nice. Close to the station, a lot of places for breakfast nearby. Good connections with Amsterdam, Schiphol etc

The way they pre charge you a deposit before you get to the property without telling you, then instead of taking the remainder of the balance they refund that amount so it’s pending and charge you again.

Great locating, if you want a little relaxation at times. 15 mins into city and regular trains.

the parking at the hotel is expensive. you get a €2 reduction but it is all digital on the phone. For those of us who were born before cell phones it is complicated and didn't work (for me at least)

Beds were far too soft if you weren't directly in the middle of the bed you would slide off, one day we were having a drink in the hotel bar chatting to our friends we was asked to be quiet,then we heard the staff say we were hooligans. Out of order.

There wasn‘t really anything major but only one elevator working is pretty annoying for a big hotel like this. I understand that there is everywhere a shortage of staff.

Construction and the heavy rain pounded on the window. No fault of the hotel.

Excellent location, close to the station and shopping street. The hotel has all the amenities, offers room service, and has a nice small spa with a swimming pool. All facilities are kept clean, and we never had any complaints (not our first stay). The staff is friendly and accommodating. We always book the suites, and we love it: the bed is good comfy and wifi is super quick. Excellent as always. Thank you!

Well, there is a wellness, still overall experience doesn't match the asking price. Room is quite small, but has bathtub. Design of the bathroom is a bit weird, there is a window from bathroom to the main room, basically a person traveling with you could see what is happening in the bathroom. Breakfast is heavily overpriced for its quality and selections, there are much better options around the hotel. Room service surcharge is 12 EUR per delivery.

Location is perfect, and seems it is the only reason for such high price for a weekend stay. Personnel is trying the best, very friendly.
