The ferry crossing, the UBER refuses to drive to pick you up, so you better offer than to pay in advance the ferry fee which is around 4.50 euro

The place is absolutely amazing, super friendly people, quiet, beautiful view!

The room was OK, but not very clean... I found several black hair in the bathroom (we are all blond ;-) ) Pets cost 8.50 extra per day but were not allowed in the dining room... (I really do not understand why and in my opinion it has to be told to the guest BEFORE booking) Planes were flying directly over the house ;-) Breakfast was very simple, much to simple for my expectation, thre was nothing fresch, no fruits or vegetables.

Very nice location, on a small island which can be reached only by a ferry. Beatuifull streats and houses arroung. Friendly people and quiet place, besides planes, flying directly over the house ;-) Alltogether OK, but I would expect a bit more for the price.

Additional €4.50 ferry each time added significant cost. In direct flight path of international airport added noise to the noise levels of rowdy guests. Inadequate car parking. Room access via a fire escape was totally unacceptable! I am amazed the outdoor spiral stairs to first and second floor with walkway between past other guests windows is allowed by Dutch authorities! Not at all suitable for young children and the elderly, not to say dangerous! Room was tiny with no place to sit or hang clothes. It was hot and stuffy under the roof, but the window above the bed meant a constant draft. No fly screen meant being attacked by flying insects. I had did not sleep, was bitten alive and do not recommend this "hotel", which was clean but only of backpacker or youth hostel standard.

Breakfast was adequate and the service friendly.

The kitchen on the 4 bed suite needed a really good deep clean and the Tv channels resetting after a Chinese family !

Very friendly staff with a charming quirky dining room. Unique location on a tiny island with only 425 residents. Great For a gentle walk among the polders and dikes. The Island even has its own organic dairy buttery and cheese shop. Great pizzeria and tea Shops To top it all there is a windmill within walking distance

It so happened that we've been there at a very windy and cold weather and our room was like a sieve and the wind blew through every slot: the door, the windows, all the electric and light sockets were sources of a very cold air from outside. Our small room was equipped with a huge radiator did not help with such an awful insulation. I was there with 2 kids and were barely frozen. We felt ourselves as if we spend a winter night in the tent. The room was extra small for 3 person, but we knew what we've chosen, so I cannot complain. Sound proof was also far not perfect, but acceptable for 2-star hotel

The location was exactly the one I was looking for - authentic place in the country, on an island. Breakfast for fairly good for that level of the hotel

It would be great if there was a double bed instead of two singles. If you come late for breakfast there's not much left except bread and small sized peanut butter and jam spreads.

The quadruple room was cozy and clean. The beds were half separated by wall (two singles on one side, and two bunk beds on the other), so both sides have privacy if needed. For breakfast there was a buffet with bread, cereal, great homemade butter and yogurt, ham and cheese and boiled eggs. Simple but tasty.

To reach the room, you need to climb a steep outside stair. You need to pay for the ferry each time you go to the hotel. The room was small and very basic. The price was high for what it offered. We choose it in order to have a family room for 2 adult and 1 teenager.

Nothing really, but perhaps it would be good to offer fans in the rooms when it is hot as there is only a fanlight window over the door which doesn't let in much of a breeze. We were there when they had an unusual incredibly hot 3 days!

First of all I didn't know they served evening meals and although the choice of meals is not huge it is well done and well served and a very reasonable price. Breakfast was good too

The rooms are cheaply constructed; therefore, you hear EVERYTHING in other rooms. Our room (#14) was especially noisy because it was outside of the spiral staircase. Doors shutting and people walking shook the room. Sleep was not possible at an early hour or much after 0600. The breakfast included the same deli sliced ham and cheese day after day. The eggs were hard boiled every day (although coddled egg holders were next to the basket).

The price was decent given the location's proximity to Amsterdam and Keukenhof, etc. The male at reception/the restaurant was very friendly.
