in one of the rooms the air conditioner was not working, the shower curtains in the bathrooms, two (out of 5) of the rooms has very noisy extractor fans in the bathrooms

comfortable beds, nice furniture in the common rooms, bulare table available to guest in one of the leisure rooms, nice parking, beautiful neighbourhood

It was all about weddings and not the solo traveller No useable plug locations in room No Room service for a simple meal available at 7pm because the chef had gone home stained bed linen and toilet was very high for short people carpets not cleaned under beds only around them

I think including some flip-flops in the rooms is a good idea. Also, the toilet seat is a bit high for short people. I had not much problem with it though.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was designed nicely. The bed was too soft for me at the first glance, but to my surprise I had a very good sleep. I also used the free sauna in the hallway, which was very relaxing. The view to the outside was nice and calm as well. The fact that there were frequent weddings at the hotel, without making noise, was actually exciting for me.

The service in Hugo's bar was slack, as one always had to look for him, but understand that only one person was on duty and had other jobs, like chef, to do as well

Is not easy to get a taxi , but there breakfast is excellent and there savers as well, I will give them 9/10 .

The town itself did not have much to show, I especially missed a good restaurant.

Staff was but rude . Not good listening skills. Gave us the wrong room even when I tried to explain . Had to go back to get the correct room . Never responded back to my early check-in message request. They charge extra for dogs, but there was no evidence showing how they got to the fee . The room was supposed to have a terrace and garden view , neither of which were there ( you look at a high fence and there was rubbish outside back door like a tipped over gas heater, no charis and no privacy . They call the modern bathroom. However, it might have been " modern " probably in the 40s . There is no shower cabin or curtain, so water goes everywhere . There was some mold around a few corners . Also, they really don't like fulling up auger and coffee when they clean the room ( probably trying to save a few pennies ). Last probably bad wiring as when I turned own the electric kettle, lights went dim . All in all, it's an overpriced, bad hotel . Doesn't deserve more than a star .

The pictures are a bit misleading. They paint a picture of a quaint little hotel with lot's of attention to decoration and detail, however at least in our case that was not the case. The hotel is not really awful or anything but it lacks attention to detail and it could use some touch ups. For example, a bathroom renovation, covered space in the patio in case it rains etc.

The soundproofing is quite well done, since there was a weeding party going on the day of our stay there and we couldn't hear anything inside our rooms.

We booked the budget room. The web page stated that some rooms have no windows to open. This is misleading as apparently all budget room have no windows to open. The room was hot and smelling unpleasent for some kind of cleaner. When we asked at the reception for a solution of the situation the only option that was given was to pay for an upgrade to a bigger room in order to have windows to open. Even no fan was available to ease the heat. Our room faced the street which was quiet at night but in order to let at least a tiny amount of fresh air into the room through the small ventilation slot on top of the window we had to leave the curtains in and the room was flooded by the street light during the night. Needless to say we had a terrible night with hardly any sleep.

We liked the location, close located to town center just a few minutes walks from shops. The room feels spacious due to the higher ceiling. Nice high beds and plenty extra pillows available

The reservation of the room and the payment was done without any troubles. Furthermore the staff provided all the information regarding the rooms, services and rules related to the hotel at the front desk at the first checking. The staff was also accomodating to any changes made during the stay, as well as allowing check out that tailored my time schedule.

Noisy (two dogs, next door) and dirty (stains on the floor and on the sheets, dust, poorly cleaned, dirty toilet brush, etc.), old-fashioned decoration, too soft beds

The hotel is very lovely, the room was big and very comfortable. The bed was small but perfectly nice. I had to leave very early so I didn't have a chance to stay for breakfast. I booked this hotel because I was having trouble getting a place near Wageningen and its a very short ride away if you need to stay in the area and 5 minutes away from the train station which is very convenient. I was there for work, but the place looked very beautiful and I think it would be a great location to host a party for an event like a wedding.

The room was very old, like the all hotel. The bathroom was very smelly. The room wasn't clean before my arrival.
