NetherlandsWhile the hotel itself was nice overall, there were two aspects that significantly affected our comfort. First, the “double bed” was actually made up of two single beds pushed together. Unfortunately, the mattresses kept sliding apart during the night, which made it quite uncomfortable for couples to sleep together. Secondly, we were disappointed with the sauna experience. The sauna rules clearly stated that swimsuits are not allowed, yet almost all guests entered wearing swimwear. As my partner and I were the only ones following the rules, it created a very awkward and uncomfortable situation for us. We believe the hotel should communicate these rules much more clearly — for example with larger signs and in multiple languages, not only Dutch — as many guests seemed unaware of them or decided to ignore them. With a few improvements in these areas, the overall guest experience could be much better.

NetherlandsArriving at 8pm, it was difficult to figure out where to park and how to get into the hotel. We then found the automated check in and were trying to figure that out with tired kids before we could find anyone to help. Once they were there though, they were super helpful and we were on our way!
The breakfast room and food were brilliant, and the kids enjoyed coming back to the hotel for a swim! Great to have a pool in a hotel so close to town. Location for visiting the Christmas markets was also fantastic!

great friendliness from staff, beautiful view from the breakfast hall, good choices for breakfast, clean modern bathroom, beautiful surroundings, walk away from nice spots. I read about it needing restoration, but i think they prioritized well by having the bathrooms, swimming pool, sauna, breakfast hall all very renovated, leaving some old carpets en creaky stairs for later. it is charming in a way. very nice to be able to enter sauna-swimming pool until 00:00

BelgiumThe bed mattress was too soft. The room featured a small desk but no chair to use with the desk. There are no towels in the spa, and no bathrobe or slippers in the room. Given that the spa on the premised is one of the strong features of this hotel, this was disappointing. A bath robe and slippers can be borrowed at the reception for a payment of 15 euros.
We chose this hotel because of its spa. The spa itself was pretty good, although the steam room did not seem to work. The room was very small, however. We did not have a lot of luggage but I can imagine for a couple with two large suitcases it could be a problem. Breakfast was very nice and offered good choice of hot and cold dishes.
