I didn't like to be told I had to arrive before 21:00. I had to rush. Normally hotels have an alternative way to do the checkin for those who have to arrive late, either automatised or in the morning

My only issue was with the breakfast, but ok/expected for the price range. The fresh pastries (little apple tarts) were delicious. The rest was kind of bland, but copious I must say - so you won't starve.

City center easily reached by bike (or tram if you want). Clean. No problem getting in at night. Super closed to two top museums in the Hague.

Despite being not personally affected, entrance is very narrow with steady steps and peraphs this should be clearly marked.

With my surprise, the room was very spacious with a nice balcony. Bed was also extremely comfortable.

Travellers should be forewarned that this is a traditional Dutch house and has steep, narrow stairs! The climb to the top was a challenge for me, as I had a large and heavy suitcase.

The location is fantastic, warm staff, reasonable breakfast, quiet accommodations.

Steep stairway in the building. I was surprised that the toilet is in the hallway and any guest can access it. But it was perfectly clean and only 5 steps from my room.

Good location, nice breakfast. Heating can be adjusted. Bed is comfortable. Check-out time is 11 am. The sea is 25 mins by walk. Nice park nearby. Museums also close. The street is also pleasant.

Corresponds to the description. The room was fine and warm. Early check in time and early breakfast. Good deal in general.

No lift. The stairs were narrow, which is understandable as it's an old house. Getting a large luggage up and taking it down will be quite challenging, as it was for me.

The location is fantastic! The second best thing was the breakfast. Highly recommended.

The staircases were too narrow for carrying medium and big luggage, very difficult to carry luggage through the floors without elevators, and no hotel staff. The website should have mentioned about the staircases and limited help. Very little assistance and help available as there was only the hotel owner available without any additional staff and she also has some physical issues.

The location is excellent with a beautiful scenic view. The breakfast was good and delicious. The hotel location was easily accessible to public transportation. The hotel owner was friendly and very responsive to emails.

There is no lift and I was on the 3rd floor. The stair case is very steep and it’s difficult to get your luggage up.

Not too much to dislike, The outside toilet didn't have a sink to wash your hands. So had to go back to my room to do so. Didn't think of it at the time but there was 2 ways of solving the problem. 1; The W.C had a inside shower (& soap) Just turn it on slightly or 2; (my favourite). Just fill a bottle of water from my room bring it to the W.C with me. Problem solved, no real issue. I guess it's a plumbing thing. The distance from hotel to city centre. It takes just under an hour to centraal station. But I do like walking and an excellent bus & tram system. So again no real problem.

The hotel is located about from 50 minute walk to the city centre. Has a good public transport service in the area. The beaches are nearer. The street is a shopping area. Plenty clothes shops, various places to eat & supermarkets also has museums nearby. The rooms (including reception) are all upstairs. Easy check in from reception. and access to front door. The room size was an spacious enough & clean. Equipped with shower, but with an outside toilet (on the same floor). The single bed was comfortable & an adequate size. Breakfast was good. Buffet continental style. Suitable to my vegetarian requirements. The host was very pleasant. Speaks English. Naturally!

I knew when I booked that they didn't have AC, so it was the only downside. My room did have big windows and a strong ceiling fan.

Would have preferred a toilet in the room but there were plenty of toilets available for the limited amount of rooms this hotel has. So it‘s really just a minor inconvenience. Can’t recommend it for people having difficulties to climb stairs. But that‘s normal in Dutch houses.

Very nice neighborhood, close to the ocean. Several grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance.
