Breakfast could be better!

Breakfast is OK , location is OK , bus stop is right in front of the hotel 👍 staff was friendly/accommodating👍👍, the best part is the pillow/duvet cover and the bed sheet given - not all hostels do so , hence this is the best hostel i have come across, thank you 👍🙂 Special mention to the receptionist- I had booked a mixed dorm for the first time in my life, It was last minute decision, I was not sure how many men had already checked in before me… I expressed my doubts and the gal at the reception, she gave me another dorm where at least one other woman had checked in already… thanks to the gal 👍🙂

A bit pricey, tennis table could be inside instead of outside. No desks available to be outside the room 24 hrs.

I would have liked more variety at breakfast. The bedding comes wrapped in plastic, which seems unnecessary.

It had everything I needed for a short stay. The hostel was easy to find and check in was simple. The property is at the edge of a big park and there's a supermarket 3 min cycle away. The beds were better than those at Stayokay Bunnik and each bed has its own power socket and light. There was a place to hang up my wet raincoat in the room (I think it was a towel hook actually).

Stay okay Haarlem was pretty decent and a budget property. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It's a bit far away from the city of Amsterdam (Amsterdam Central) but if you would want to explore Haarlem and nearby areas it's a 10/10 deal! Would definitely visit again and sure for long stays.

Bus stop to Haarlem city centre is close by. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I especially like that the focus was on sustainbility.

There were large numbers of children who only knew how to run in the corridors and up and down stairs. If I’d known that I would have booked somewhere else. It was also a long way from Haarlem itself and if you didn’t have a bike, a bus was required which was close by fortunately. Amsterdam required a train as well.

A good Breakfast was included and there were some nice walks nearby.

Poor service in bar area, we had to keep going and finding staff. Info says strictly no food to be brought in to dining area so we paid for a meal there, then watched lots of people eat their own food. Area easy to find but quite far from any restaurants etc.

The staff were tired and very confused, but despite everything they were always kind and with a smile trying to explain things. Sometimes for dinner you couldn't understand what you had to eat.

The property was all around nature, and it was like going back in time. The super breakfast is also enough for lunch.

In certain moments, the staff is not present at the reception and you may have to look for them in other common areas of the hostel.

The rooms and beds are comfortable for a short stay. There is a bus station right in front of the hostel, which takes you to the main station. Make sure to check the frequency, though!

The location is not so practical.

Nice and quiet room with clean shower, toilet and sink. Outlet and lamp next to bed. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

The corridors really had a strange smell I guess coming from the carpets. If they could work on resolving this.

The Breakfast was amazing and the bed very comfortable. The location is right by the road easily accessible to the bus station.

The only thing i experienced was it is a bit far from Amsterdam need to take 2 busses.

I would highly recommend this hostel. The stay was really good. everything was clean and neat. You have all the facilities bike, bar and morning breakfast. .
