Great big room with everything we could wish for plus a comfy bed and fantastic view straight onto the river. Very relaxing . We had to leave early on the Monday morning before breakfast so they prepared us a wonderful packed lunch instead.

The location of the hotel is amazing, far from stress of the city the smoke of the cars and high buildings, I feel I am in the heart of nature where you can breath fresh air, eat bio food and relax after a hectic working week. The staff are amazing and the service is excellent. We came back with friends and they loved being there.

Poor service, you have to check-in outside the hotel. waited few minutes as the waiters from the restaurant are responsible for check-in. Not welcoming staff

Nice room with direct river view. Not fully equipped: no heater strong enough and none in the bathroom

This hotel is set in a very quiet, rural landscape . The only activities in the locale are cycling & walking. Great if that's what you want to do. The coffee in the room is not the best I've tasted!

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. Our room was large with a balcony overlooking the idyllic river Maas. The hotel restaurant is very popular and I would advise booking a table as they do have large parties which reduces individual table availability. The restaurant beside the hotel is also very good. The chain ferry beside the hotel is cheap and very useful. There is a brewery a short distance on the opposite side of the river with a great pub.

Needs a little freshening up, rooms starting to get a little tired but it's a small thing. Will definitely be going again.

Wonderful location and brilliant food, loved the little ferry crossing the Maas.

The breakfast was lacking in krenten bolletjes!!! A firm favourite with our family, and a necessity for all tourists visiting Holland! Fruit selection also poor bearing in mind it was the middle of summer, and rubbery eggs. Freshly cooked eggs would have been nice.

Good quality bedrooms, lots of space and great views.

This was our third time staying here. Whats not to like? Very comfortable rooms overlooking the river Maas, Amazing restaurant serving the most delicious dinners, very nice management and staff who all speak English. We look forward to our fourth visit in the not-too-distant future.

A oversized room with an enormous view! A view of the Maas river from your spacious room and balcony. Very nice beds for a good rest. A superb restaurant on site and extensive breakfast at the same restaurant with same warm hospitality.

Closed on sun- and mondays. Pointed to 'bij christoffel' restaurant accross the street. They do a kind of tapas meaning four courses of small portions. Not my kind of thing. I prefer a well cooked standard dish which we found in 'den engel' in Nieuw-bergen (15min drive by car).

The hotel is good as before. You can read my previous positive comments for details. Breakfast personell was exceptional attentive bringing a glass of water when she saw the pillbox of my wife on the table. Thank you.

Nice location. Good buffet breakfast and dinner. Plenty to do in the area to fill a weekend (walking, beer tasting, gardens of Arcen)

By being charged ONE EURO for a jug of tap water with dinner!!!!

The rooms are superb with views over the river Maas and the ferry, and not expensive. The staff (and management) were so nice, and professional. Dinner is not cheap, but the quality justifies the price. Overall, we thought it excellent value. This was our second time here, and we will visit again.

The wi fi went down in the bedroom block. The hot breakfast was lukewarm and cold plates but it was included in our rate.

The balconies from the room overlooking the river. The tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The restaurant - dinner was a beautiful presentation of new tastes (for our English palate). It was exciting and flowed. We thought it was more than fairly priced and we have enjoyed less multiple michelin star venues. The table by the window and non overbearing service plus a quiet refined atmosphere was the business.

Although it is stated on booking.com that there are bath and double king size bed, actually it's shower only and 2 connected twin beds . Christmas dinner is overpriced ,it is pretend to be exclusive chef's menu, but appeared to be pretty ,but mostly not tasty and strange dishes.

Great place, location right next to the river, very quiet and peaceful village. Staff is friendly . You can take ferry to the neighbor village on opposite river bank(about 3 min sailing,0.3 euro for passenger,2.4 euro for a car) ,there is great brewery and pub.
