The ambient lighting was good, but it would be helpful to have a main light sometimes, e.g. when packing.

We loved the quirkiness and the themes. Every staff member was friendly, engaging and helpful. Really helpful that it is so close to Central Station.

Its a nice place in the Binnenstad neighborhood, very close to the Amsterdam Central (railway station, which is 3 stations from the Schiphol airport). My room was tiny but really cosy and very appropriate for one person. The bed was comfortable (which is very important :))

There was a bar to get teas and coffees but it was only open until 8pm. The staff kindly brought us a kettle for our room but we couldn't always get milk as the bar was closed or didn't have milk. A very minor point though as the hotel was lovely!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great position to get everywhere in Amsterdam. The staff were brilliant, very helpful when we asked about places to see and transport.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Andrew and the guy with glasses (sorry didn’t get your name) was extremely helpful - Andrew helped us on our first day there by explaining how to get to places and what he recommends etc. location was absolutely perfect for our first time in the city as well only a 5 minute walk to centraal station and lots of food and shops around us as well. The bed and pillows have to be the best I’ve slept on also!

Generally the stay was brilliant with very great staff present throughout. Only comment would be to have additional plug sockets available where possible as it was difficult to charge more than one device on the current setup. However would recommend highly everytime and would stay again myself if the need arises

Only bad thing was workmen started drilling next door at 8am and we ended up leaving the room early as it was just awful noise wise. Staff explained that unfortunately there was nothing they could do on this however.

Great location, close to the station and easy to navigate around the city. Clean and functional room, although could have done with another mirror when you are sharing.

Our room decor - I was expecting a 'funky' room to match the decor and vibe of this hotel but room was very boring No kettle, tea or coffee facilities in the room but was told from 8am until 8pm all were avalible downstairs. Unfortunately the coffee machine was empty and there was no milk in sight.
