First thing it was difficult to find the entrance door. The door bell was not working so we had to call on the number which was provided there. When we called and when I told my name the lady who was speaking on the phone said we do not have reservation for you. Then I told that we booked it from booking.com and then they found my name. So they have no idea which and how many guests are coming on a specific day. We had our 4 months daughter with us. There is no elevator in the property so we had to pick the stroller from my daughter to the 1st floor which was quite a lot of circular stairs. We had requested for the baby bed. When we entered in the apartment there was no baby bed. Again I called on the number and same thing happened they said they have no information about it. I clearly selected a baby bed and it was in the booking.com.so that lady told that we have to go to a place and take the baby bed from there.so we had to go there and get the baby bed and mattress ourselves. So again they have no idea what the person has asked for. There is a frame in the hallway "Don't feed the tourists ". Me personally didn't like that as I felt offended. So they have no idea what the person has asked for and they make you to arrange things by yourself.

The best thing about The Urban Residences is definitely the location, perfect for exploring Maastricht. Everything else was fine and, considering the price, quite acceptable. The apartment could be a bit cleaner and in slightly better shape, but nothing that ruined the stay. One thing worth noting (not really a negative, more a peculiar design choice) is that the shower and sink are placed right next to the bed. It worked, but it did feel unusual. Overall, a good stay for the value and the location.

Great little find close to the centre of Maastricht. The apartments are very spacious. It felt like a waste to only stay a single night there. Great location and clean and quiet inside.

there is an automatic ventilation system guests cannot control: it was loud and cold on our first night, but the staff regulated it on the second day and it didn't bother us afterwards. There is no drying rack for clothes, only tumbler. the upper and lower floor are connected, so that one needs to keep quiet and with the lights almost off downstairs if others are asleep above. therefore not ideal for families or couples/friends who don't go to bed at the same time.

great location in the heart of Maastricht, nonetheless very quiet. spacious design apartment. helpful staff. would recommend.

We arrived on a very hot day and the staff had been sent home however a quick phone call and the staff talked me through the access codes and direction to my room. Parking was just down the road in a locked garage. The location was perfect for the town square and close to the shops and river. Found a great brewery over the river, Stadsbrouwerij. Good selection of beers and great food.

The apartment is very modern and decorated mainly in white so it did not feel very homely or cosy to us.

Overall, the staff were polite but unable to solve problems effectively. We extended our stay by one night, and although our access cards were “supposedly updated”, we were still locked out of the building. This left us standing outside our apartment door in 38°C heat for 30 minutes after a long bike ride of 60 min, extremely uncomfortable and simply unacceptable. When I asked for compensation for this clear inconvenience, I was told there was none due to your policy of no immediate help after 5 p.m., despite staff acknowledging the issue was on their side. Basically, nothing was offered proactively. Only after I asked multiple times did they agree to extend our parking by a few hours, which felt like the bare minimum. Simply saying “we take responsibility” but doing nothing unless the guest insists does not feel like real responsibility at all. It’s a lovely place to stay, but I hope you can improve how you handle situations like this and train staff to problem-solve better and offer gestures without guests having to ask repeatedly.

Fantastic location. Great amenities. Pleasantly surprised by how well the apartment was furnished and its appliances. Comfortable beds, good bathroom facilities.

Communication was very difficult with the staff. Emails were not returned promptly nor were phone calls. I was very dissappointed and frustrated by their lack of follow up. If you do not arrive when they are available, it is a hassle getting into the building. There are A LOT of stairs to get into the building and to your apartment - if you have a lot of luggage, it is a hassle. Their parking lot is close by, BUT, you need to have a small car to enter it (I parked across the street and it cost me almost 38 Euro.)

The apartment is in a great location in the center city. It has a lot of room and amenities (washer/dryer/cooktop/oven.) The room was very clean and the AirCon was a nice feature. It was very quiet and I had a good night of sleep. I also liked having room to open my computer so I could get work done. Overall, I liked the apartment and the location. It was very comfortable.

I think the place could do with a new paint job.There were stains on the wall,making it look a bit dirty.At the top of the stair case there was a tile off the wall and it was very dirty.

- the room I booked didn’t look like the one as on the pictures. It was very dark in the kitchen and bathroom. For fresh air, you could open just a small gap on the bottom of a very huge long window. - the bathroom didn’t have any windows and was dark with only one small light bulb. - the room had so many other rooms, where technical assets are stored (this was random and scary) - the design of the room was not very thought-out. They tried to make it modern with weird furnitures but with cold colours, where you feel like you’re in the hospital. No warm colours at all. - the room was also very „used“ and dirty. The table had stains of some sugary stuff. The shower had orange limescale in the corner and on the frame. I found some hairs on the bed and I didn’t even dare to sit on the couch because it looked like it was used and not cleaned 10 years back. - I asked for a new room but the answer was kind of late cause they only answer your message until 5pm. For that price, i would think again if I would want to stay there

The lounge and chairs in the lounge room were quite uncomfortable.

The property was in a great position. Close to the town centre but in a quite area. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The apartment was clean and roomy. Facilities were very good.

The heating options very not all useable. For such a central spot it was quite calm. Though there are often the cars to be heard which are posing on the streets surounding the block. there are not much options to open windows and get fresh air into the rooms.

A very modern posh place just around the corner of the famous Vrijthof and the City Center of Maastricht. 2mins to reach lots of restaurants, the river Maas and all attractions of the City. Very friendly and supportive service of the staff.
