To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nice clean room with large beds. Bathroom with all amenities. We rented bikes and these were surprisingly cheap and in good state.

BelgiumThe breakfast was very nice, but the only downside was the huge queue for coffee and tea. Maybe this was exceptional, but there was a continuous 15 minute queue from 9 until 10:30 in front of the coffee machine. I expect better from a hotel in this price range.

United KingdomI was really glad I wasn’t in a room in the main part of the hotel as all of the rooms overlook the restaurant and bar area which would’ve been extremely noisy. It seemed a really odd layout and would not have made anyone’s stay peaceful.
The beds were incredibly comfy with amazing pillows. The reception granted my request and put me in a room in the quietest part of the hotel.

NetherlandsThe restaurant food quality was not as good as I had hoped, and the food prices are expensive for what you get. Overall, the experience of the whole stay seemed a little less than what I had hoped. There was no coffee machine in my room.
The room was pleasant, the bed slept very well. The location is useful, with lots of overflow parking at a minimal charge. The breakfast options were great.

Great location near Blijdorp ZOO. Very good connection to the city center. Reliable wi-fi. Coffee machine and kettle available in the room. Parking fee only EUR 4.
