Nothing really, for the price it was more than acceptable

Good location, had a really cheap deal so the breakfast and swimming pool were an added bonus for us

electrical connection of water boiler is really bad (we cannot boil water properly), but we were lazy to ask for another one. Room is relatively small but good enough. Shower is inside a bath, maybe inconvenient for old people as you have to move your legs high to get into bath to shower. Parking place can be quite full on weekends or holidays, but there are other parking options around.

Staff are very friendly, location is perfect, parking is just in front of the hotel. Shower is conformable (water pressure is good). Room is clean. Breakfast is tasty with multiple options (more like British-style breakfast)

Rooms are a bit on the older side, same applies to the bathrooms. The bar in the hotel closes quite early and we were told that lights were going to be shut off soon (10 PM on Sunday) Beds were very soft, probably too much Limited parking spots that can't be reserved in advance, if you check-in late in the afternoon/evening you'll likely have to park on the street, though there is plenty (unsupervised) public parking space directly in front of the hotel or 2 min walking distance on the back of it.

Very nice and central location and easy to reach, close to bars and principal attractions from the city are within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Train station is also reachable within 12-15 min Breakfast is quite good

Was told by the Barman, the bar shuts at 10 pm, even for residents. Probably the only hotel in Valkenburg to close so early, so we went elsewhere. When we returned, the staff were having a drink at the bar.

The corridors are in need of an urgent renovation. Also multiple stairs within a corridor can be uncomfortable considering you have heavy luggage.

Friendly staff, room simple and clean with a nice jacuzzi function in the bathtub! Also the pool and surrounding areas are very well maintained. Breakfast superb with a very wide range of food and drinks. Bed was fantastic, super soft and comfortable!

Parking was not available when we arrived. The very fancy toilet with instructions on how to use wasn’t working. The directions to the pool in the hotel was not good, we walked in circles before finding it 😂

The room was clean and a good size. Breakfast was great The location was good as we could walk to town and restaurants. We could easily drive to recommended attractions. A nice part of the Netherlands to visit. Carnival was on so that was nice to see.

The parking is paid everywhere and the hotel only provides paid parking as well, it is not included in the reservation fee.

The hotel is really nice. We stayed in a Double room plus which was big and comfortable. The hotel is in the city center and very near to restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Despite that, the area is quite calm especially during the night. Our favorite things were the breakfast and the swimming pool. The breakfast has so much variety and everything is delicious. The swimming pool was a great addition for us because our main purpose for this weekend was to relax. We wish we could have stayed longer. Totally recommend!

The breakfast wasn't in the room where it always was. Due to lack of guests breakfast was served around the reception. Wouldn't be my first choice. Some guests became no breakfast due to some misunderstanding.

The bathroom ventilation could be better. Due to the time we arrived, parking in the square was cheaper than hotel parking but make sure you have plenty change, as usual foreign credit cards were not recognised.

We chose this as a good base for a visit to Maastricht and easy access to the motorway back to the ferry at Rotterdam. The hotel is clean and comfortable.

Rooms are a bit small. Each bathroom is different. Towels are hanging above the toilet, which is far from hygienic.

Nothing in particular, everything was great.

Place was superb. Staff was quite friendly, and the room was absolutely perfect, with all the facilities you could ask for at such a very tempting price.
