The dining could have been better in the way they managed things. We had a three course diner with a group of friends, about 15-20 persons. The restaurant apparently had difficulty in serving the dishes in the right time, i.e. (about) simultaneously for all guests. The quality of the dishes was variable, some were good, others mediocre.

Room was excellent, the breakfast was fine.

We were charged for 2 extra beds just for using the sofa bed in the family room. It was not clear from the hotel page that the sofa bed will be considered as 2 'extra beds' when used. This needs to be clarified!

Comfortable, clean, good location for walks.

Room was a little dated and has an awkward layout with a split toilet room and bathroom (the latter being quite small).

Friendly staff and excellent location; also a nice restaurant area.

Nothing in our experience justifies 4 stars for this hotel: the room has basic furniture, old heavy blankets and hard pillows. The tiny bathroom did not have the advertised toilet articles, not even tissues. Breakfast buffet was basic in quality and choice. The sliced tomatoes from the first morning were there in the second and the third mornings! What about slicing less, but fresh every morning? One expects of 4 stars hotel a bit of luxury and certainly better quality.

location. Good place to start biking and hiking tours. Well marked paths.

The rooms, room furniture, public areas and staircases were looking a little "tired" - but this is an observation, not a complaint, and would not stop us going there again.

Quiet but central location in village; Super beds; Friendly, young, helpful, knowledgeable staff; Great food and drink. After a hard day's work, the Wesseling was a very relaxing home-from-home for us.

The room had no airconditioning. We furthermore would have enjoyed watercooker or coffee making facilities in the room. Parking was available, free of charge, but occupied by visitors to the village/restaurant guests. Not clear that there were other closeby parking facilities available free of charge so we had to walk a bit. Our room was in another building that still had to be renovated (other side of the street - walking distance of main building). Given the above, we would have appreciated a little more value for money (some discount of the normal price would have been appreciated).

Super friendly staff. Room was very spacious. Bad and shower were fine. Bed was very nice. Two restaurants with different menus were available to guests. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Location is very central.

A church across the street rings their extremely loud bell every 30 minutes throughout the night. Sleeping was just about impossible, and I felt that I was a danger on the road the next day because of exhaustion.

    Great staff.
