The size of the rooms, they could do with bigger rooms. The wooden floors were lovely but made the room above noisy as well as either side of us.

The location just a couple of hundred meters from a large beach.

Staff at the restaurnts were very young and unexperienced. Foods on plates coming for 7 of us without cuttlery and very chaotic side dishes arrangements (different from the menu). All of them were not in sight and we grabbed them ourself to the cuttlery drawer in the middle of the room No Napkins were also provided; when we asked for it, the waitress took couple of those and put them all at one beside the childern table, instead of for example giving it for each of customer. Otherwise food was good.

    Everything was perfect!

We were very pleased by the friendly reaction of the staff when we asked to move our non refundable booking by two days due to a funeral we had to attend. No extra charge and only smiles and friendly reactions. The included breakfast is superb, with a wide range of food available and in a noce setting at the hotel restaurant

A bit dated on the outside but nice and modern interior and very friendly staff. You feel very welcome here. Rooms were large enough, the shower and wc were separate, modern and clean. Breakfast consisted of a buffet with a wide selection of (local) foods. Excellent! The beaches are clean and appear really safe for small children. I would definitely return here. Middelburg and Vlissingen are close if you would like to go shopping.

Not sure if it is value for money as it must be quite expensive for a long stay.

Although the outside of the hotel looked as if it needed a 'lick of paint' inside was quite unique using recycled materials for walls, tables and art. Good large room with an adequate en-suite. Very good dinner and buffet breakfast. Sited right behind the dunes makes an excellent location for cyclists and walkers.

The hotel doesn't look like a 4 star hotel: no air conditioning , no mini bar, no electric kettle in the room, even no body cream. No drink water is available for free. Double rooms have twin beds and balcony with view to the roof and other balconies. Hotel parking is used by everybody, not limited to the hotel guests, which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Location itself is also not great - there is only beach, no restaurants (only 2 options), no walk roads at all. The beach is not very clean and well looking.

Near to the beach. Wooden floor in the room, room design is nice, bathroom also looks good, new and clean. Quite nice breakfasts (but the plates were absent for quite long time).

The one and only downside of the room was the very tiny (separate) loo which was impossibly claustrophobic and had a very strong spring on the door to keep it shut. Parking was a bit limited, certainly with only two disabled bays which, thanks to the adjacent bays being even narrower, were unusable due to badly parked vehicles overlapping.

Wonderful hotel and very good value for money with a bb+em deal. Food was excellent and the very attractive design of public areas using driftwood added to the ambience.

The beer at the bar and restaurant were quite expensive.

    - The location was excellent: right within walking distance of the beach and remote. - The free parking was handy. - The staff was really good and could speak English. - The breakfast buffet was varied and good. - The 3 courses menu for dinner had multiple choices for starters, main plate and dessert.

In addition to being a good hotel this one is uniquely located in the dunes close to the see. Because the place is rather isolated, this is particularly interesting for people who like nature and silence.

However, the hotel was disappointing for us. We actually checked in still in the time allowed for us to cancel or modify our booking. We made use of it after a first glance at the hotel. We reduced the number of stays since the hotel room looked like a hostel room with a portable folding bed, dirty and shabby balcony and a very poor air circulation in the rooms. I am not a person of high demands, nevertheless comfort in a decent sense should at least be present. It was not the case for us.

Location is beautiful. Especially for those who like wandering, biking, strolling along the endless long beach. Besides, it is walking distance to Vlissingen and is easily reachable to Middleburg for a nice little city tour and dining.

Interior styling.Staircase bannisters little bit greasy. TV mounted left of the beds bit difficult to watch when in bed. Crowded at breakfast. Special dinner arrangements need better announcement.

Location near dunes and beach. Nice walking trails and bike trails. Friendly staff.

Terrible value for money. For that price/night I expect to not have to iron my dress/shirt for a wedding in the hallway (no portable ironing board, attached to the wall next to the elevator). The rooms are basically the size of the bed. Nice interior but with two people you can hardly turn around in the room.

Nothing to complain. We had a very good time. Maybe the balconies could be cleaned / refurbished a bit.

Directly next to the dunes and direct access to the beach. Good for families with children. Good breakfast and restaurant. Good fitness room and swimming pool. Kicker and table tennis for kids.

Our room was right over the front door where they have an area set aside for smokers. :-( The front desk staff did offer to move us to another room but the hotel management may want to consider moving the smoking area away from the front door out into the parking lot area. Also don't like the automatic lights in the bathrooms that turn on as soon as you open the door. Wakes up the other person sleeping in the room.

Very nice location, very helpful and friendly staff. Great dinner at the restaurant, one of the best meals we had in three months of traveling in the Netherlands.

Eating options are limited to the restaurant which didn't have very good limited diet options and the menu seemed uninspiring. Fortunately the second nearest "beach club" has great casual dining although if I was here in winter when the clubs are closed I'd want a car so I could travel to eat.

Everything else was fine. Great location, nice beach, good staff, good facilities, good breakfast, room was good. About what you'd expect for the price.

Please consider changing the extremely noisy, old, cheap and unergonomic cardio machines in the fitness room. Also providing towels and fresh water in the fitness room does not cost that much. Having a variety of choice of food at breakfast would be welcome. When spending 3-4 days in the hotel, having the exact same choice of food every single morning is monotonous.

Your staff is brilliant and friendly regardless of where they work and what they do within the hotel.
