The rooms were next to the bar, the public toilet and the kitchen. The noise in and around the hotel kept on till late at night.

We like nothing about our stay their. They make you feel like an intruder.

It was a little surprising that the room was on the ground floor, same as the restaurant. I think we were lucky it was not a busy day.

Everything was clean and tidy; the staff was really helpful. The room was of a very decent size, and so was the toilet .

Room was super too warm with no option to change the temp. My wife has left a bag on table and forgot about it when she went back to the room. Next day got it back but without 300 EUR that was in cash inside the bag.... We have asked for camera footage and it was visible that only guy from the bar who has found the purse, checked what was inside... Avoid this place.

    Location.

    - Location. Central but still uninspiring. - Sound Insulation problems. Noise from snoring from the other rooms was terrible. - Having to move room (due to emergency works) - Wifi was good at times and terrible or just not working other times - Lack of a desk/table in the room: This is not ok for business travelers (you need a desk for the evening work/summary/emails etc).

    - Staff was ok - room were big enough - Restaurant was ok, with a decent offer - Breakfast was OK.

TV remote was too gross to handle. But didn't really matter because out of the 20+ channels only a few were actually visible through interference. Room is dark, lights are poor, walls are thin. Think old, cheap student accommodation. I heard every sniff, cough, and conversation from my neighbours. And when one showered they showered in my room, similarly when they they used their WC, because their bathroom backed fully into my room. Hence broken sleep. Not very Pleasant. Breakfast choice - v. limited. The area needs more competition, but maybe not enough demand.

    Nothing of note.

The bed was hard and lumpy. The carpet had stains and the common area badly needed to be updated.

It was across the street from the train station so we did not have far to walk with our luggage. The bathroom was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

lobby and dinning room cluttered with old wines and nicknacks.

This Family Run Inn is warm and welcoming, very professional, and makes you feel like you are really in old school Holland with a traditional sense of Inn Keeping. Conveniently located next to the train station, you don't hear the trains BTW, full on Dinning Room and Bar, I could grab a bite or beer anytime and rented a bike from the front desk and explored the whole town easily.

In Holland everything has a surcharge on it, no matters how you pay. They will force you to use your credit card even buying the cheapest food (clearly trying to wipe out cash payment). You feel there like your money is being sucked at every step in any place, and end up developing a "fear of consuming". They disguise these money seizing as 'ecologic reasons' when they are actually dirty tricks to bloodsuck from your bank account as much as possible (things so miser like 0.25 cents for plastic vessels). Grocery markets are so stingy they have monopolized the payment system, forcing customers to use coins from 5 cents up, and statistically setting prices so the rounding is 'suspiciously' in their benefit on 99% purchases. If you want to have a very good idea of it, just watch the Dragon Ball GT episode 3 "Imegga, Planet Of Merchants". The picture Holland shows as freedom country with sex shops, coffee shops and all is a total fake. Out of Amsterdam you are not going to see even a single couple kissing in public. Only embittered scrooges. Sex? Not a natural real one at all!. Only a showcase with accesories to get your money.. And the worst thing is, people not only do nothing to fight that dictatorship and zero-quality-of-life system. They even defend it, from a clearly brain-washed childhood. It is is pathetically surrealist. Like every place in the world you would travel, you will found nice things in Holland. But.. Don't expect to find friendly and happy people there.

Breakfast in the hotel was good enough, but there are no more good things that I can say other than "just acceptable".

Way too expensive considering that: a swarm of mosquitos didn't let us sleep, a room itself really requires renovation, Wi-Fi doesn't work in a room, cigarette smell.

Good location, cozy interior of the restaurant, old but nice furniture, spacious room.
