Bergo Hotell communicates on their website that the location is 150 meters from the skiing area, and this was the main reason to book, to avoid using car with with small kids to get to the slopes. As a matter of fact the room we were allocated was more 400 meters away in a completely different building, and we were required to use the car to get to the skiiing area, with very difficult parking. Staff was very dismissive of our concerns and gave us the impressions we were stupid to not understand that the room we booked was in a completely different building far away from Bergo hotel. Bergo is destroying their brand with this practice and unwelcoming staff that shouted at us in the reception. Stay away, and find a more welcoming accommodation for your stay at Beitostølen.

The apartments could need a refurbishment. The tiles in the shower was loosen. The cleaning could also use an upgrade.

Beitostølen is a great place for families.

Property was fine but beds very old and creaky, the interior in generel seemed a bit worn out. Distance to the lift around 700m which was longer than we expected.

Most important that they oblige you to clean or pay a ridiculously amount of money, they have no refunds policy. Mainly nothing to do in the location if you are tired of hiking and their stupid placement of one of the toilets (one public access and one reserved for one room only).

Good price for Norway, could accommodate all the group (8 people), living room design.

    Absolutely nothing

Seamless check-in and check-out procedure. As for the stay itself, don't know where to start from but the apartment was absolutely magnificent! Luxurious and modern with everything you could possible need already available there. Beds were comfy and temperature control was great. Shared some photos of the apartment along with the view and the outdoor seating + hot tub.

The only downside is there is not a kettle in the room. But the hotel provide tea and coffee facilities in the restaurant. So only an issue if you want tea in bed in the morning.

This is our 4th trip to the bergo hotel. We love it. Staff are friendly welcoming and kind. We have a room overlooking the sledging slope. It's a 2 minute walk to the ski slopes and the boot room is closer still. Convenient for skiing, shops, restaurants. This year we had a new huge tv in the room.

The beds were small! The bed in the main bedroom was about 140 cm which, for us, is very uncomfortable. Also the kids bedroom was very small and did not have a window so it was very stuffy and warm.

The location and WIFI was excellent, the garage was a bonus. The appartment (we had a 2 bedroom apt called Stølstunet) was very nice and clean and had a beautifull balcony that had sun from 11.30 't ill 17.30.

the apartment was poorly equipped (e.g. missing essential utensils), the furniture old fashioned and very worned out (e.g. the bed in the master bedroom was rather unstable and very noisy; not very comfortable). in addition, the accomodation was pricy and we had to clean before leaving. poor value for money.

There are no covers for the beds and for the pillows. There is also no towels, but anyhow you are informed at the booking and its not included with the price so if you need covers or towels you have to pay an extra fee, which is fine and not expensive.
