The place is easy to get to. We walked there from the main square. The view from the room is amazing. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was really good.

Since the building is obviously very old, the stairs to the upper floor, where the rooms are located, are relatively steep. This might be a problem for older people or people with reduced mobility.

The waterside location is just fantastic. I loved the view from the window. The room itself is cozy and clean, although a bit small. Breakfast was rich and tasty; I especially liked the local salted salmon. Communication with the staff was great.

Room was very small and there wasn’t a seating area. There wasn’t a communal seating area except in the breakfast room which was only open at breakfast(obviously) Quite expensive for such a cramped room

There is nothing wrong with the property except that is completely overpriced. The money you pay here can buy you a 4 or 5 stars hotels in Svolvær for example. I appreciate a lot the good service but I know that the price we paid for this room was just not right. For that I do not think I will stay again in this hotel.

The room was comfortable. And I was able to stay with my little dog. The service was great. Very attentive and responsive.

The room was incredibly noisy, as if an engine was running all night. I inquired about the possibility of changing rooms, but I was only offered a room on the same floor, which was just as noisy. To make matters worse, the room was not clean. I found hairs in the bathroom and other areas, which clearly indicates poor cleaning standards. Overall, this was the worst night I’ve had during my entire Norway trip. I understand that the location is important, but that can’t be an excuse for such poor service and high prices.

The location was great, and the breakfast buffet was pleasant.

The rooms were big, the view was fantastic, and beds comfortable. We made use of the patio and even took some photos of aurora from there. We also loved the breakfast with big selection of yogurts, juices and fruits.

Such helpful staff - they went above and beyond for us 😊 Lovely room and cleaned very well. Fantastic location and a gorgeous town to walk around (can easily walk from the hotel). Very delicious breakfast - buffet so help yourself. It was divine and a great choice of items too, hot and cold. So happy with our stay! Thank you!
